love the function of the pergola! directions are not the best but were doable. need a couple of people to attach top to poles. the wrench that is provided was very cheap so used my own wrench. 1 of the brackets is bent but we made it work.

Pergola holds up great. My only issue is that the hooks that come with it don't snap so I'm constantly having to climb on a ladder and rebook the fabric onto them.

    • NOT WORTH THE PRICE
I bought this to put on top of the jacuzzi and the only thing I like about this product is that you can retract the canopy to get some sun; otherwise, this is not worth the price for various reasons 1- very complicated to assemble. 2-instructions are not very clear 3-few rods came bended 4-not sturdy at all, the anchors won't help secure it to the floor to make it sturdy. I'm considering pouring concrete around the 4 legs post 5-When it rains, the water concentrates on top of the canopy. I have to give a twist back and forth to get rid of the excess water. The product is good but needs some revision and for the price need to be a better material. ... show more

    • Be patient assembling but a good product
The instructions are not the best so be patient trying to put it together and if you plan to place the gazebo on a cement patio, be prepared to drill holes with a hammer drill. I’m sure the 8 provided bolts would have worked to secure it to the ground but I ended up buying more bolts (differs ones) from the store. Once assembled, it looks great and I anticipate many years of good use. Regardless of the instructions, I have no regrets and would buy it again. ... show more

    • Great design, terrible directions. Update, fantastic customer service
I was able to build the pieces and attach most of the structure by myself. It does require 2 more people to hold together as final assembly is done and 4 people to move, one on each leg. You will need 2 hours of help for final parts to attach and hang the canopy. Do yourself a favor and get a socket wrench and do not screw too tightly. The directions are really, really bad and you will have to redo much of your work as you see it coming together. The beams are solid but the brackets are soft. The 4 inside brackets bent and 1 broke as we put in to place. Update, parts were quickly replaced and it looks great. Thank you Outsunny ... show more

    • Bad product from start to finish, even when the box was first opened
The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was that some of the beams were already rusted. Apparently whatever protective anti-rust coating they used was only applied on the exterior of the pergola's frame but not the interior, so it was already rusted on arrival and throughout the very short life of the pergola (less than a year) it rusted further even with repeated anti-rust treatments (since they're difficult to apply inside the frame). Installation was a complete and total nightmare. There are only four steps in the instructions, so there is a lot of confusion as to which parts are which and the order in which things should be done. Many mistakes were made before they were rectified - these mistakes could have been avoided if the instructions were clearer. The provided anchors are a complete and total joke - they are metal pins that have no hope of anchoring down the structure and would break very easily; this structure demands concrete screws ("topcons") and we had to buy them separately. Because the beams that support the canvas don't have smooth endcaps, they frequently tore the canvas over time due to wind and the beams ejected outward, nearly hitting vehicles in the parking lot on more than one occasion. We frequently had to sew these holes together with very thick thread - thicker and stronger than the canvas itself - but new holes would form elsewhere. Eventually the canvas itself ripped entirely from the middle (not from the ends of the beams). In less than a year after purchase, we now have a badly rusted frame with no canvas. We will try to contact the manufacturer to see if we can get a replacement canvas as a short term solution until we replace the entire thing, which was a horrible purchase from start to finish.     • Easy to build and use.
This pergola is great. Retract the top when you want sun, put in place for shade. Easy to attach to patio with concrete screws too. I may attach a longer cord to the ties so I can use it to hold it open in case of storms and wind but a bungee works for now. Drain holes in each section for rain to get through when you do leave it pulled across are nice so no pooling and fabric “staining”. ... show more
