I'm really happy with this great winter coat. It's nice and warm without being too heavy (although not as light as some of the 'packable' down puffers), the wine red color is perfect, and it fits well. Love the dual zipper feature for easier movement while sitting down, and inside pockets (one very handy zippered pocket on the inside upper left side for your phone or whatever, plus a 7" x 8" velcro closure pocket on the lower right for umbrella maybe). The hood (not removable) can be snugged up to fit around your face if it's windy – a good design even if a little bit dorky. I'm 5'1" and this kind of coat tends to swamp me, but this one works. Length comes to my knees, and arms are a bit long (as always) but they have a nice elastic bit on the inside that keeps them from drooping down. I ordered my regular size, and it's roomy, but leaves space for layering. The only thing I haven't been able to test is how warm it is in winter conditions, but will be able to do so soon. Really hoping it's right for winter temps in Germany! There are a lot of choices out there in coats like these, but I think for the price point and quality, this is a really good one. ... show more

This is a wonderful coat. The blue color is perfect. Almost a very dark teal blue. I love it. Unlike some other coats I’ve ordered this one came with no wrinkles, washes beautifully (I’ve washed it twice), and if you hang it to dry , it dries really fast. The hood is perfect. Fits around my head very well (I have a larger size head) and keeps you very warm. The hood is adjustable. But the best part is how warm it is for a very lightweight coat. It’s amazing that such a thin, lightweight coat can hold such warmth. It comes to my knees (I’m 5’4”) and has a really nice slim silhouette. It runs fairly true to size. I weigh 138 and the medium fits me with oversized sweats underneath. I’m extremely happy with this coat and can highly recommend it. And the Amazon price is good. ... show more

it’s a solid coat and seems like it would keep you warm, but I had to return it because it was a little bit boxy. I am on the slender side and it was way too big in the waist. I prefer a coat that is a little tapered in and these are not.

I bought this coat for a trip to Norway in the winter. It was the perfect length, kept me warm, wind resistance, and the sleeves have elastic inside to stop the wind. I like pockets, there are 2 inside and 2 roomy ones on the outside. I liked the color and it looked good on. The only draw back was I couldn't fold it up well enough to stuff in a suitcase. I bought this coat intending to use it for the fall, but I ended up wearing it all winter. It's warmer than I expected which is great. The color is lovely and I have received compliments on it. The cut is flattering and the coat is overall very cozy. The elastic wrists are nice and the hood has actual cords for adjustment, which is a plus. My only suggestion for improvement is to have a raised collar that zips up higher. I did have to wear a scarf to keep the cold air off my neck. Otherwise, this is a perfect coat. ... show more

    • Nice coat but broken zipper in 5 wears

Nice coat. Fits well, warm, and I liked the double action zipper. Unfortunately within two weeks of wear (maybe 5 wears) the zipper pulls fell off the bottom of the zipper and the coat now has no way to close. I don’t know whether to try to fix it or what. I don’t want to fix the bottom zipper pull with glue as I would normally do since it’s a supple action pull. The tab that catches the zipper at the bottom is way too small and doesn’t work well. Love this coat! It’s been super windy and 38 here in Vegas and the coat has kept me warm. Lightweight and fits true to size. I got a Large so I could layer and wear sweatshirts. I could have done a Medium if I was just wearing shirt. Good pricing! Very happy with my purchase.
