First, this is a beautiful jacket. I have the longer one though I had so much trouble deciding between the two, I may buy the shorter one in a different color if this proves to be warm enough for Michigan winters. The herringbone pattern of the puffs seems to be unique to this coat at this time and is one of the most flattering "v shaped" silhouettes one could wish for - especially in a winter coat. A puffer, no less! I do not like the look of most puffer jackets. The puffs all go straight across which makes your body look wider. Not this coat~! The gorgeous cascading v cuts your figure even if you aren't "cut". My body shape in this coat resembles (a much larger) Marilyn Monroe hourglass shape. I'm still losing weight (fasting and keto) and will probably buy smaller sizes if they keep selling these. Sizing: Amazon suggested a 3x for me, which is not available and would have been too large. My current measurements are 48"-44"-50" and the seller recommended which fits perfectly: Size: XX-Large | Color: （runs Large. Order Size Down) Ink Blue(shiny)-avg.36" Long Length The sleeves are very, very long. I have shorter arms and need blocks in yoga for some poses, too, though. I also don't always wear gloves, so really appreciate the longer sleeves. They can be pushed up a bit a la '80's or even rolled up. The hood is delightful. It truly blocks the wind and I was able to pull it over my ears and go without my constant ear muffs. Huge plus! It also is very light and doesn't get behind your neck or bother you when it's down. Quality on this is outstanding. This is one of the best zippers I've seen on a coat. It has no hanging threads or threats of coming apart any time soon! Again, the style is just fantastic, too! It would be nice if the pockets were fully lined for they are a bit rough on one side, but that's nitpicking! Compare the price of this coat to others in its class with far inferior styling and you'll have it in your cart before you know it! I will update this to address warmth as the season changes. I know people always say that and don't, but I do. lol Hope this helps! Lightweight. Extremely lightweight. I'm kind of skeptical that it will keep me warm during a Michigan winter, but like a review from Minnesota, we shall see and even if it's only for Fall and Spring, it's a beautiful jacket. I will not return it. I am hoping the technology mentioned works. I use an NIR light therapy and it's magical, so I am very hopeful. Update: this cost has been surprisingly warm during 20 below zero 50 mph winds. I won’t say it encouraged me to camp in the backyard, but going from house to car and running my dog in the backyard was doable! Whatever this technology is, it’s amazing because you can wear this inside the store and also not get hot. I don’t know if it’s warm enough to walk to school, etc outside longer than like 10-15 minutes, but it’s performing better than I expected. 2nd Update: My measurements are now basically 45" - 39"- 45" - this coat still fits when I roll the sleeves a bit and it's very roomy. I'm going to buy another one in either Teal or Olive and thinking about the shorter style for the new coat. Looks like the sizing will be different for Olive than Teal. This Ink Blue is a terrific color and still looks and functions fantastically after almost 1 yr. Excellent wind blocking capabilities!

I've worn this jacket a lot since I bought it in Oct. Fall temps, early winter temps, current polar vortex temps....really anything ranging from -10F to 50F. This is an awesome, soft, lightweight jacket. It has a fitted look but it is roomy. I got the XXL to allow for warmer and thicker sweaters and I have had no issues fitting in and zipping it. The zippers are smooth and open from the top and from the bottom. The down filling stays pretty puffy. I've machine washed it several times and it's holding well. In warmer days, it is light but it gets pretty warm. In colder temps it keeps me warm but if there is strong wind, it won't keep you as warm. I managed to walk across a grocery store parking lot a few days ago and by the time I was in the store, I had started to feel the chill. Tested on a rainy day without an umbrella - the outside layer got wet, but it did not soak through and once I hung it to dry, it was dry in less than 30 min. Lengthwise, it comes just below my butt (I'm 5'7"). The sleeves are long enough to cover my wrists and they have the elastic covers on the inside to prevent wind from going up. Overall, this is an amazing jacket, very functional, and easy to wear. Well worth the money I paid for it. 💯 recommend!!

Love this jacket. I’m 5’ 10”, the 32” comes to mid thigh and the 36” to just above the knees. Size was spot on for the 32” For the 36”, it’s a bit tight over the hips so I’m returning and ordering a size up. It’s a thin jacket, easily packable. I use a vacuum bag and it takes up little space in my suitcase. The inside zipper pocket on the upper left chest easily fits my cell phone, Apple 13, and my wallet. Like the location as it will be easy in, easy out. Going to France, Germany and Switzerland in December for a European Christmas village tour. Will try to report back on how well it does.

I have ordered this coat in the GRAY color in the Medium and Large sizes in both the 32” and 36” lengths. I am 5’7”, 150 lbs., bra 38D, 39-32-40”. I mentioned the gray color because sometimes the sizing can vary by color. 1. The 36” length in Large fit me perfectly and was lightweight. The two-way zipper was the problem. I’m very familiar with how they work, that you have to “seat” the top zipper fully into the bottom zipper’s slide before you zip it up. This zipper was defective in that it didn’t have enough slider length to fully catch the top zipper into the bottom zipper. The brand of the zipper was marked “HHH” and it was silver. 2. I liked the coat overall so much that I ordered the Gray Large in the 32” length. The 32” length is a “gray marl” and the 36” one is a solid gray. I hoped that the 32” would have a better zipper and it worked! The zipper is black and marked “SSS.” It works very smoothly and easily. BUT the Large size in the 32” length was too big overall, from the shoulder seams and arm length to excess room in the torso. I should note that I like my winter coats to fit with enough room to wear a long sleeve t shirt or a thin knit top or sweater. I don’t wear bulky sweaters or oversized hoodies. 3. I have just ordered the Gray Marl Medium in the 32” length. I will update here after it arrives! UPDATE: The Gray Marl Medium in the 32” length fits perfectly. This coat’s quality seems equal to Eddie Bauer or Lands End and the lower price, compared to those brands, makes it a great value. It has extra features that take it up a notch - like a soft fabric covering where the zipper would touch your neck when it’s fully zipped up. Also, there’s an inside zippered pocket at chest level that can hold a phone. Highly recommended!

My absolute favorite jacket is no longer available, and the feathers are starting to come out from the seams. I was looking for a down jacket with a hood, double zipper (up from the bottom and down); zipper pockets; an inside pocket (great when you are running a quick errand and just need your wallet and phone); cozy cuffs and warm. I was doubtful if this very thin jacket would fit the bill, but I thought it was worth trying it. It has gotten cold in the last few days - down to the low 30s and windy in New York City. This jacket kept me warm. I have worn it in the rain and it kept me dry. I love the color too. I love the length- mid thigh (I'm 5'3") Update: It's been really cold here in New York City and this jacket has been great! I've been wearing a long sleeve top with a light jacket underneath and this jacket is doing a great job. The hood could use ties to make it adjustable but it hasn't been a major problem. I'm thinking of buying another one in another color.

This coat ticks all the boxes I needed it to. It's warm enough for most late Fall to early Spring days, and big enough that I can slip a sweater or vest on under it if I need a little more warmth. The only time I didn't wear it this winter was the 5-6 days it got below freezing. The shape of the coat and the pattern of the quilting is flattering. It's not a big puffy thing--I have enough natural puffing of my own--don't need anymore!! I love the pockets! They zip closed, and hold my phone, keys, gloves, etc. PLUS the inside pocket (which also zips) is great for my wallet. No purse needed! The two-way zipper is wonderful--unzipping from the bottom when I'm sitting/driving is helpful. Also love that the hood doesn't have that fake fur that usually looks like road kill! And the hood isn't a big floppy thing that keeps falling down. I do wish it had a snap or button to hold it a bit snugger, but the zipping it all the way up helps. And I often have a knit hat on when it's cold, so that helps. It washes in the washing machine beautifully--cold wash, delicate cycle, and it hang dries pretty fast. It's not waterproof, but water resistant. Once or twice I got caught in heavy rain and got soaked, but for light to moderate rain/snow it's OK. And, as I said, it dries fast. Bought this last year, and when it went on sale the end of the season I bought another, just in case something happened to the first one. Now it's on sale again and I'm so tempted to buy a third just in case it's no longer available! I've never had a coat I was so happy with!!

I love this coat, the look, the fit, the length that keeps your legs warm, but it is very difficult to zip when you're wearing it. The gauge of the zipper is too small, and in my coat, the lead into the zipper is curved (malformed), and the zipper is difficult to get started. On a couple of occasions it has caught the fabric while being zipped up. I am considering having a better zipper put in because I like the coat that much. . I finally did discover the small inside zipper pocket where my phone can be kept. I wish it had an inner pocket on the other side as well. The pocket is well placed in the chest area, since it can be reached by pulling the main zipper down only a short way. . I like the hood because it is not gigantic, so when you are wearing it you can actually turn your head without burying your face in it. . I would give five stars except for the zipper problem. It's important enough that I have to downrate it to a three star.

Perfect. Weighs next to nothing but very warm. Has double zippers so you can unzip from bottom for easy access to pants pockets. My old winter coat was so heavy, but I didn’t want to look like a marshmallow so I avoided the puffer coats. I thought I would give this a try because it looked fitted. So glad I did. 5 foot five, 130 pounds and went with the medium, which fits perfectly. Today was the first day I wore it. It is 28° and the coat was warm as toast. One nice thing about the coat is that it has elasticized cuffs inside the sleeves. I don’t understand how they can make something so lightweight yet so warm. Wish I had bought one of these much sooner. One thing I noticed on the washing instructions to be mindful of is not to put it in the dryer. I imagine it wouldn’t take long for it to air dry. The suggested size by Amazon was a small, but I decided to get the medium and it was just fine.
