The wood is thin, but not like balsa-wood or anything. It will withstand a heavy storm and wind. If you were to install it on unlevel ground, I suspect you’d see some cracking before long. Instructions were surprisingly good - think IKEA but no Allen wrench. Each time you think something isn’t right, pause and take a good look at the instructions to get you back on the right path. I had every part that was advertised which I’d suggest you check before you get started. One thing I didn’t realize for quite a while is the wood is stamped with the letters in the instructions. I knew this shed would not be fully waterproof. But not only does it easily let in water; its low-quality wood lets mold flourish. I live in Los Angeles—hardly a rainy spot—and just a few rain events have turned this shed into a mold condo. Do not store anything of value in this thing. Better yet, don’t buy it at all. Was easy enough to put together, despite a couple of misprints w/the instructions. Would have given 5 stars except I had to replace the latch with something more substantial and will also likely reinforce a couple of places where I need to install some hooks.

Not at all rodent proof but was easily modified. Hardware is flimsy and useless, Henges top support bracket were throwaways. Installing the front doors was the must difficult of the assembly. There remained a 1/2 inch gap between the doors. It took some creative modification to make it work.
