These batteries do last longer than my standard GoPro 12 batteries. I found they lasted about 10-15 minutes longer though battery usage is dependent on your camera settings. With all day activities (like filming an amusement park visit or outdoor trek), these are wonderful for their extra power. I think $25-$27 is a good price - especially since they work in my GoPro 9 and GoPro 12. Carrying a few longer lasting batteries is much more appealing than carrying multiple batteries. Especially on a long hike or day trip.

These iROCCMIN 2-Pack 2280mAh High Capacity Battery for GoPro Hero 12, Hero 11, Hero 10, Hero 9 Black work reasonably well. I used them in my Hero 10 in a race car and they lasted what seemed like an appropriate amount of time. I think I got about an hour and a half out of them before they ran completely dead. The price seems reasonably in-line with these batteries, so no complaints there. Overall I'm happy with them.

I am always amused when a manufacturer states a benefit to their product that is inherint in the nature of that product. iROCCMIN states that their 2-Pack 2280mAh High Capacity Battery for GoPro Hero has, "No memory effect ensures reliable charging cycles." It is true, Lithium-ion batteries do not have a true memory effect. However, improper charging can cause "voltage depression" in Lithium-ion batteries. This can lead to reduced battery efficiency. For example, I have noted that frequent recharging of my Lithium-ion camera batteries without allowing them to go to a depleted charge causes them to not fully recharge. Nevertheless, the iROCCMIN 2280mAh High Capacity Battery is a reasonable option for GoPro camera users. It beats the new GoPro Hero 13 Enduro Battery that only has a1900 mAh capacity. And it is significantly less expensive. So, to my thinking, this is a reasonable battery option to anyone looking for a replacement or additional battery for their GoPro Hero 12, Hero 11, Hero 10, or Hero 9 cameras.

Works and fits seamlessly in my 11, though one had an issue calibrating or something. In camera, it’d show charging, but never go higher than 77%. Put it in a dedicated 3rd party charger, and it’d show 100%. After some back and forth with other batteries, the “77%” one eventually somehow showed up as 100% in camera.

The capacity of this battery is the highest I have seen so far after trying several different batteries for Gopro 12 for more than a year. It is 2280maH, which is much larger than the 1720maH capacity that comes with the original device. It is really good news for users, allowing more time to shoot when going out. Great!
