The frame is made by stainless steel. Looks decent to me. Easy to install. The only thing confuses me is the ground wire. I did it by my way and that’s why posted a comment. I used the wire nuts to hook up the 3 wires then made a loop of the ground wire and fastened the loop onto the ground nut on the metal shelf. I would say, it’s the best way by far. ... show more

The photo I uploaded doesn't do any justice to how beautiful and elegant the pair I bought look. I paired them with a soft white LED 5.5 watts. I wish the box included visual instructions but luckily I have enough experience to figure out how to install them. The instructions are written only. This light a really nice. It comes with instructions, and was well packed. You will need someone who is familiar with electrical wiring. I got this for my dads house, and he's an electrical engineer, so installing was no problem.

    • Unnecessarily difficult to assemble
It doesn't take 4, 5, or 6 hands like some reviews suggest but they did make it harder than it needed to be. if you have any skill doing home projects you'll be fine, frustrated but fine. Installation of the plate to the wall uses a stiff bracket which does not seamlessly mate to the back plate and the tolerance of the glass housing is too narrow. Also, if mounting on stucco, you may need a spacer to bring the bracket away from the wall a tiny bit... unless you MUST have these, there are better options which are not so poorly engineered and not so over-priced. ... show more
