I opened the box to assemble the fire pit. There are parts missing! There is nothing to attach the pit to the base (screws or nuts & bolts) also the ring for the top is missing!

This Outdoor Fire Pit is good for small fires but is overpriced slightly for the quality of what you get. The pit is small and lightweight. It is made from very thin painted steel. The metal bends easily. The quality is like every other small fire pit you find in the big box stores; there are no features that this one has that any other pit would have. The pit is small and is not capable of a large fire nor can it manage larger pieces of wood. It is best suited for the lighter weight composite logs you can purchase in stores or wood not much larger than a few inches in diameter. The pit included an ash catching pan that goes under the pit and a metal grate to presumably cook on although I think cooking on it would be a bad idea. It also includes a ‘fire poker’ and two metal pieces that you would use as handles to pick up the cooking grate. Assembly was straightforward although there were not any instructions included. Four nuts and bolts hold the pit to the stand, and one eye bolt connects to the lid. The pit arrived with several scratches in the paint all the way down to bare metal; one spot on the pit itself and the others were on the ash catcher. Also, the ash catcher was bent in several places.

This was another item I was really excited to get and be able to review recently. I have a small back yard in an urban area and was looking for a small fire pit like this. I think the listing pictures are a little deceiving from how bit it actually is so make sure you are paying attention to the dimensions! For me, it was perfect as I was actually worried it would be bigger. It does require some assembly and there were no instructions that came with it. Luckily, it's just a few screws but I still had to look at the picture to make sure I was understanding the correct way to screw it. I just used it last night for my first little fire and it worked perfectly. It will not hold more than 2 standards logs safely I would say. I bought some Duraflame logs and find that just using one is perfect for just me. It did radiate the heat pretty well for just one log and just for me. I'm not sure how long this would last if you plan on keeping it outside in the elements and would definitely recommend a cover if you are, it's small enough though to be able to move it in and out very easily. I really appreciate and enjoy the accessories that were included such as the poker! I don't think I will ever use the cooking grill personally but it's nice to have one! I would definitely recommend as a small fireplace for yourself or with a partner but do not expect for this to warm a group!

This is a nice little portable firepit for patio or camping. It is very complete, with an ash tray, spark cover, grill, with handles to lift with and a wooden handled hook to remove the lid. It is small enough to move around or travel with but big enough for a nice little fire. I don't know about grilling meat over it but the grill would be nice for supporting a skillet or coffee pot over coals. Seems safe and sturdy. Arrived on time and was easy to put together. It was packed stacked in a heavy box. We really like it and would recommend.

This is a really cute and convenient little fire pit—perfect for quick s’mores nights with the kids. It felt safe to use, even with small children around (with supervision, of course), and it comes with everything you need to get a small fire going easily. It includes a safety screen, fire poker, air vent, and even a BBQ wire mesh. We mostly used it for making s’mores, and after that, we just let the fire burn down—it made for a cozy, relaxing evening. I’m not sure I’d use it for actual barbecuing, but for light use and family fun, it’s great.
