I don’t have a dog small enough for this anyway, but i got this for my cats. They love to lay on the floor, but the floor is no place for good kitties. I end up having to put their beds on the floor. This keeps them warmer but they’re still at risk of being run over. The roof is a little annoying. I definitely don’t want to be taking it off and putting it back on. But it stays put just fine once it’s on. Directions are easy to follow. Construction is sturdy enough for 3 cats. Not sure how that translates to dogs. Instructions were easy to follow and gave me a few giggles. Love this thing and might invest in another.

I ordered the large out door version assuming this would be for a large breed dog and be pretty insulated. While the design in great it's simple to assmble and seems to be built well. The insulation is not something that will protect your dogs at freezing temperatures. But it does have a pass though for a heated blanket. The pad for the bottom looks thick and comfortable. The elevated feet will also help with insulation. The size is the other issue maybe in china all the dogs are also smaller like clothing sizes im not sure. But I have a medium lab sized dog. And he really has to squeeze into this thing. But it is large enough for him just don't think you are going to get an truly large dog into it. But overall if you want something good quality that you can get easily shipped to your house this is it.

This little dog house is awesome. It's the perfect size for small to medium dogs and is fully waterproof. Easy to assemble, took maybe 10 mins, and the quality of the material is great. The canvas is thick, keeping it warm inside. The floor pillow is nice and soft and washable which is nice. The house has legs which raise it off the ground a few inches. The door flap is secured by velcro, you can remove it entirely or keep it on and it's nice and heavy - a strong wind could blow it inside the house however. That being said, I'm sure it would maintain heat in mildly cold weather but it's more of a "let the dog outside for awhile to lounge in". It's also to nice leave as a permanent outdoor dog house. We decided to leave our inside as the color fits well with our decor. Overall, I love this!

This house was very easy to set up. The main section folds out and the bottom gets pushed down and stays in place when you screw in the legs. You set up the roof bar, attach it to the main frame and set in the velcro roof in place. Once all that is set up you can lift part of the roof to place bedding inside and add the door flap. This accommodated 2 small dogs 12lbs and 25 lbs. Later 6 cats ranging from 6 lbs to 20lbs did a sleep pile and were asleep very comfortably inside the home. This all occurred indoors. If you pour water on the surface of the home the water doesn't absorb but slides off. I suppose it can handle a reasonable amount of water if placed outdoors, but If you want an outdoor home for a dog or cat I would opt for a sturdy solid plastic outdoor home for the same price. With that being said, this home will be used in a catio that will be protected from the rain so it won't get tested by the elements and will serve its purpose.

Our dog likes to spend all her time outside watching/chasing birds and squirrels, really anything that moves. I got this so when she is out on our deck, she will have a cozy place to sleep. The setup is pretty easy, just unfold the bottom portion and line up the Velcro pieces for the roof, and legs and done. I like that the legs are not permanently attached, we do not plan to use the included legs. The waterproof sides and top will help with durability, also making it easy to clean. When not in use, it can easily be folding up for storage. I like that there is a hole for putting a heating pad inside.

There is no way this thing is worth more than 100 dollars. I got the version that is supposed to be for the outside. There is no way this lasts outdoors. Also, I got the largest one offered and my smallest dog is still too big for it. The walls and roof are soft and will not stand up to any abuse. The “waterproof” fabric will start to break down in the sun and most certainly won’t stay water proof. It is super light so if you have any gusts of wind, say goodbye to your dog house. I would absolutely not waste your money on this thing. For 100 dollars I expected more than some semi rigid fabric. Also, the roof is only held on by a small amount of Velcro. Again, the wind will take care of that in no time. Really unimpressive product for the price
