The chairs arrive flat-packed but were easy enough for a little old lady to build alone. They almost look like leather but, of course, are not. We find them a very comfortable sit if a bit low (reminicent of an Adirondak chair). Have held up very well in the Texas sun so far.

I guess I should’ve looked at the reviews more but from the pictures I thought it was wood but the arms is metal painted like wood. Which is totally fine I still love the set, the leather straps are good and it still gives my patio space a nice look.

With a custom back pillow, these are California mid-century beauties. Yes....the all packages are missing three washers. I left off the underside. They aren't standard washers.

The set is well built and looks great, but both my husband (6’2) and I (5’2) found the chairs too low and uncomfortable. We meticulously repacked the single chair we had assembled and returned for refund. The seller informed us that since the chair had been screwed together for assembly, they would only refund 40%(?) We called Amazon and they made good on a 100% refund. We’ve been Prime members for many years and have bought and, once in a while returned, plenty of furniture etc., but have never had a refund less than the full cost. Luckily Amazon Customer Service is excellent and will do what it takes to make it right. Just a heads up !! ... show more
