Assembly is easy and the instructions could use a little more explanation but no problem. Awesome set of deck stools! These are definitely well made, and really comfortable. I got them for our small porch and they are really nice to sit in and enjoy the sun. There are a lot of screws and it took me quite a little to put them together, but they came together well and sturdy. They have a bit of weight to them but are still easy to move around. My friend was surprised and remarked at how comfortable it was. The fabric is a thick weather resistant material and looks classy. The chair easily and smoothly rotates 360 on metal bearings. I like the way they look they’re sturdy and heavy enough not to blow around in the wind. I will say they are very difficult to put together. I had three men working on it one just basically said I can’t do this. Go figure lol we finally got them together. They lean back a little bit, but they are good enough. I wouldn’t spend any more than I did on them. Would love to find chairs that are pre-assembled. ... show more

Putting these together is definitely a 2 person job. But once we got them assembled they were sturdy and so comfortable! We have them at our outdoor bar next to the hot tub and I really like that we can sit to dry off and it doesn't leave a soggy seat. My husband is about 6ft and the chair seat is perfectly deep enough so his legs are not dangling or cut off. Worth the effort to assemble and we saved money over buying them at the local home store. Nice chairs - LOTS of screws. Read the instructions carefully (they aren't very good) and you will be able to match the right screw with the right location. It helps to have two people putting it together - one to hold the pieces and the other to put in the screws. Definitely use a power screwdriver. When done, we all really like the chairs. Directions were easy to follow. Used power tools to make assembly quicker but still took about an hour to complete both chairs. Very sturdy once everything was tightened up. Smooth swivel. Comfy to sit in! Perfect height for bar table.

    • Be prepared for some frustration.
The instructions say "one man, 30 minutes to assemble". That is not even close to being correct. All the hardware was neatly packaged and correct in number. Instructions lacked signifying upper or down on a couple parts.
