Initially I thought that assembling the frame would take a long time, and in reality with two people we were able to put it together in no time. The instructional guide was on point, all of the screws were properly marked as were the metal slabs as well as the electrical connection. I give it 10 out of 5 stars for look, functionality and ease to assemble. The USB connector is used for the lights under the headboard and can be easily interchanged with whatever you want to charge or just use the standard outlets. Thanks Ourpic! ... show more

Easy to put together and easy to operate. It feels sturdy while in use. It was a good buy for my first apartment; for the money, it handled more than I expected and is absolutely great value. The lights are not bright but absolutely suitable for lighting the room at night and setting the mood for a cozy night in, and I think if they were brighter than they are, it would be irritating.     • Good Bed Frame, But LED Remote Interference Is Frustrating

UPDATE: Do not buy this bed frame. The metal is very cheap and doesn’t last long at all. I bought this bed two months ago and the frames are bent. My son isn’t heavy and does not jump on his bed. It just fully collapsed, which means it was already collapsing shortly after. Overall, this is a solid bed frame. The setup was very easy and straightforward, and once assembled it feels stable and supportive. The frame itself looks nice and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. My only real issue is with the LED lighting system. My son has the exact same bed in his room, and the remotes are not programmed to individual beds. Because of that, whenever he changes the color of his lights, it changes the color of mine too, and vice versa. If one of us turns the lights on or off, it affects the other person’s bed as well. This makes it impossible for us to personalize the lighting separately. We end up having to agree on one color, or I just unplug the lights entirely to avoid the constant changes. The main selling point was the LED lighting. If the remotes were programmable to each specific bed, this would be a near perfect product. This bed frame is great for my 11 year old son but man alive did I have to fight this thing to get it together! Parts were bent, some screws just didn’t fit how they should and I had to literally pound all the center bits together in order to get it all connected. I felt like I needed three or four people instead of the two I had. The boards aren’t screwed on at all in the center due to the screws not fitting right. On one end of the frame a screw won’t even go all the way in. We tried all the screws of that size .. none would go past this point. All that said, I do love the frame and expect it will get this guy through the rest of his teen years. ... show more
