I haven't had this very long, but here are my initial observations/impressions: Boots quickly. Screen is bright and responsive. Screen has a pre-installed high quality screen protector. Battery capacity reported in the OS is 11,000 mAh instead of the 10000 mAh in the description. I haven't timed the battery life, but it seems to be good while actually using the tablet/screen (as opposed to standby which I haven't timed). Camera seems to be good. This tablet supports compass function for use with navigation apps. That was a desired feature when I purchased. This is my first tablet with a landscape layout. When the tablet is oriented in landscape mode, the selfie camera is located top middle. Other camera is top left. Up/down buttons are top right. Power button is just below the up/down buttons (just above right middle side). It's somewhat heavy at 1 lb., 14.5 oz. The built-in FM radio requires external headphones for an antenna. I cannot find any 2.5mm or 3.5mm headphone jack anywhere on this tablet, so the FM radio is non-functional. There is a rubberized cover over the USB-C connector (left middle side when the selfie camera is top midde). This looks like the weak point of the design. I suspect the rubber cover will eventually become detached and/or lost during use. Time will tell. WiFi performance at 2.4G seems better than average. 5GHz WiFi seems as good as other devices. I had to change some of the default Android setings to get the usual three navigation buttons to appear on the screen. When they were not shown, while scrolling, it seemed like some of the button functionality was still present. This resulted in unexpectedly popping out of, or over to another app. I prefer to have the 3 Android navigation buttons displayed, so this is not an issue for me. The only real problem I saw was related to charging the tablet. The tablet comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable and a plug-in 120VAC charger. The included charger works well. It does not have folding prongs. I normally charge most of my devices with this 60W multiport charger. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HN6JK7N It does not seem to be compatible with the Oukitel tablet. I believe my charger supports a maximum of 5V 3A per port. It has a display for the actual current being drawn by the connected device. The Oukitel tablet started drawing more than 4 Amps, and the charger display started flashing to indicate the overload. I ended up buying new car chargers and travel chargers that are compatible. I also bought this device https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BHSHL9JX to determine compatibility. When I connect the tablet to various USB 2 and 3 data ports on a computer or USB hub, I generally observe 0.45 to 1.2 Amps being drawn. My Samsung Android phone has two settings to enable fast charging and super fast charging. There is no such setting on the Oukitel tablet. That's really my only complaint about the tablet. I would like to be able to disable fast and/or super fast charging for those cases where I don't have my own charger or USB hub available and need compatibility with whatever is available.

Upon receiving the tablet I was impressed by the durability and performance. The display has a stunning vibrance showcasing the whole spectrum of colors. The look and feel of the tablet is weighty, but that's a sacrifice if you want durability. I did like the fact they sent a hand wrap with the box and not have to worry about dropping the tablet. It's very simple to install. As far as performance goes it's very powerful. The touch screen is responsive and very snappy. Everything loads in mere seconds. The only drawback is the way it was advertised in the specifications on Amazon. While it does have 15 GB of RAM can be a bit deceiving. They need to state it has 8 GB of onboard RAM and 7GB of virtual RAM. Other than that it's a very good well built product. I intend to use this more for work and a little bit of play.

Here in New England where there's almost always a weather event, I'm not carrying an extra case, plastic bags and/or worried about using it outside I took it to an early morning car show at a fairgrounds. It slid off a table, bounced on the wet ground. After I gasped, I just wiped it and kept going. Later I dropped it again onto pavement without a problem. Yes, I'm a bit of a clutz as I get older and more medicated. My eyes aren't so great, but the screen is OMG bright compared with regular tablets. I didn't know what 400nits would look like, but at 1pm, mid summer I can see it easily in direct sunlight. My gaming tablet can't do that and it overheats if I try. If all that isn't enough, the RT5 is faster and has more storage than my "gaming tablet". Android 13 runs great. I have no problem buying more of these for work so we aren't always replacing tablets. I wish I thought of this sooner. --Rich

I bought this because I have 2 Oukitel cell phones and I like them but their tablets at least this one is just flat out no good. I went to transfer data from my iPad and It told me it was gonna take over 17 hours, both batteries of my iPad and this tablet ran out long before that. After I recharge both of them, it would not pick up the rest of the transfer. Battery is supposed to last 50 days on standby but it didn’t even last a day on the first tablet so I returned it for a replacement. The 2nd one also had a bad battery. The replacement tablet, I was able to transfer data from my iPad in 41 minutes so it proved the first tablet was really defective but this tablets battery was still bad. The battery ran down very quickly as well so I ended up resetting everything 2 times hoping it would help but it didn’t and I fully discharged the battery 3 times and recharged it too full with no improvement. The last charge I played solitary for a little over 6 hours and the battery dropped to 50% then I just let it stay on standby and it was dead in less then 4 days yet manufacture claims it has that 50 day standby. I took pictures of the battery usage page as the battery ran down till it died to show the problem was real and not just my saying so to show it’s a problem. As good as their phones are their tablets are poor. Also, I’ve never found a manufacturer who did not factory seal their electronic products, and what I received both times was not factory sealed when they arrived and you could just open the box which makes me very suspicious as too them possibly not being brand new as claimed especially since both had major problems. I asked Amazon if they could send me an email to contact the manufacture to ask if they factory sealed their tablets but am still waiting for a reply and it’s been over a week. One more thing that this tablet does not have is there is no fingerprint option only face recognition so that was dissappointing because so many online places allow a fingerprint to log in rather then having to remember your different passwords so that’s another minus.
