Finally, an affordable product with great hold! While I do love my Innersense products, they're very expensive. As a curly girl with thick hair, I go through a lot of product and was feeling Innersense taking its toll on my wallet. Ouidad is a great alternative! This gel was recommended to me by my hair stylist. I bought the 8oz version to try it out and OMG! it is THE BEST gel I have ever used (and I have spent a small fortune in styling products and I have tried tons of gels). This is simply a must have if you have wavy-curly hair. It is a liquid gel, that makes your hair shiny, defined and it holds your style for a couple of days. I have type 2C-3A curls and I can't believe I just found out about this product. I have used it all the time since I bought it and I will definitely buy the bigger size. It has quality ingredients, it doesn't leave any residue. I use it on top of a leave in conditioner and it is just perfect. It is worth every penny. If you have fine curly hair and live in a humid environment, buy this! It's incredible. After trying countless curly hair products, I've finally found the best gel ever. It gives me a little bit of a cast but scrunches out easily, and gives me the best curls I've ever had. Day two or three refreshes beautifully with just a bit of water and scrunching or shaping. After all the great reviews and the price tag of this gel, I expected it to actually stand up to humidity like its branding says it does. Unfortunately, I’ve been using it quite a bit in the Caribbean lately (in the middle of summer, which is indeed quite humid), and I find that my hair still gets frizzy. I guess it only works depending on how humid the environment actually is, but for almost $30/bottle, it’s a major disappointment. I guess some people like that it doesn’t leave your hair crunchy, but in a humid environment, I think a gel which actually leaves a cast would be more effective. I would have to use an enormous amount of this gel in order to get a cast, which just doesn’t make sense when there are other better hold products out there which cost much less. I can’t recommend and wont be buying again, unfortunately. ... show more
