I'm a little disappointed for several reasons. With no reviews to make an informed decision, I took a chance and ordered. I'll be using these pieces of very thin fleece to line stocking hats and for that, it may be fine if they survive the washer. I'm afraid to wash them fearing they'll fall apart. They're just shy of being see through. I didn't get not one black but 2 different shades of gray, woulda prefered a black one instead. The edges of these "blankets" are whip stitched by hand it looks like and not a neat job of that. They would never be satisfactory as gifts unless you would be gifting someone's pet. Way too much money for the product. UPDATE AFTER WASHING: These blankets are gonna end up being very nice for making stocking hat liners afterall. I washed and dried in the dryer and was pleasantly surprised at the difference they were afterwards vs. when I received them, packaged in sucky bags and very hard. They held up nicely!! They are soft, still thin, some colors more so than others and the texture slightly varies by color. No bleeding or fading of colors. In all fairness, I'm changing from 3 stars to 4 as they are a bargain for the reason I purchased. If I had to purchase solid fleece online and most companies require a 2 yd minimum and it's pricy per yard, I would have paid a small fortune. Having gotten 10 different color blankets and the fact that they are 50 x 60 inches, I saved way over half of what I would have had to pay for fleece by the yard in 10 different colors. We have 7 ferrets and if there is one thing they all agree on it's that they love fleece blankets. Got them a pack of these and put a couple into each one of their pet beds around the room. They burrow, snuggle and love sleeping in them.

I needed these for a 48x48 whelping box and bought them because it said they were 50x50. THIS IS A LIE! They are smaller than 48x48 and useless to me.
