I love this stuff. I worked a dime size amount in my palms and then raked with my fingers through my dry hair and I scrunched it in but also finger coiled my waves and bangs. I have shoulder length cut with bangs that is a mix of my fine, thick, straight, wavy and curly locks and this works wonders for me. Usually my hair gets so frizzy because of all my different textures. Some how this makes all my hair types manageable and stylable for a cohesive look. I used to use Aveda's Control Paste but I like this more. Also the smell is not overpowering for me. Just use a little and it goes a long way! I can't even smell it now that it is in my hair. I have fine hair and it was a learning curve for me, but after realizing I only need the tiniest amount I really like it on the ends of my layers to create more separation. By current BF likes it as well because it isn’t as heavy as other pomades, particularly those marketed towards men. We both think it’s smells lovely. Please bring it back! Amazing scent and hold hair really well. Only issue is that it feels really heavy and dirty by the end of the day. I can’t wait to wash it out at night.

The smell was a bit much, very hard to wash out of my hair. I've only used it once. It's good if you want the slick look without using hairspray! It did flake a bit.

This is not matte at all and does not hold whatsoever. My hair looks greasy, wet, and limp. I have fine yet thick hair so I need something matte and strong and this is not that. It does smell nice. Don't know if I can return which sucks so I may be forced to simply throw it away because it would be of no use to me. ... show more
