After 20 years, it was finally time to replace a headlamp on my truck - first bulb replaced, ever. Anyway I assumed the original plastic retainers would break, so I ordered these as backup. When I tried to install them, they didn't quite fit and after trying to press into place, they deformed. The plastic is softer than the original fasteners. I can't believe the 20 year old plastic fasteners worked better than these new ones, but it's the truth. So, I reused the old ones! ... show more

I like the foam ring that comes with them. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is because it didn't work on my 07 nissan titan. They are a little shorter than the original ones. I took the foam ring off and it still didn't work. I will be keeping because I am pretty sure I can use it on a different vehicle ... show more
