Sugar scrub's and especially ones that are scented nicely like a pina colada (great for summer time use too), might be a bit frou-frou for guys but that doesn't matter as much since it's important to take care of your skin and keep it soft while also looking good. I like how the sugar scrub is filled to the top of the jar/tub. It smells great, has a thick kind of paste like feel so it seems tough to scoop some onto a finger without grabbing a huge glob or too little. Also doesn't seem to dry my skin out much at all, and mine's in the dry and sensitive category; especially during colder months. It can cause some slight redness because the scrub has a coarse sandy feel, but again seems like when it's warmer out, air isn't too dry, using warm enough but not hot water the sugar scrub gives your skin a noticeably polished feel after you rinse it vs before. Might experiment if using the sugar scrub on clean but towel dried skin after a shower I guess, is what one article I read said, is best or if using it on clean wet skin is better? Bought as a gift, the person I gifted this to loves this product. Only reason I am giving 4 stars is because it had spilled n the box during shipping, so it wasn't sealed right, it would be nice if there was a plastic film over the top to prevent spills while shipping.
