I use this as a fully body scrub
I got this vs the stuff in the tub mainly because it's in a tube. It can be a little hard to squeeze out because it is thick, but it really is not that bad at all? Better than a tub that gets water in it when you open it. The tube is just a lot neater. I have never used a pre shave scrub, I like to use scrubs at the end of my showers. SO I used the scrub on one leg before I shaved this morning and after my shave with my other leg. I do not think I can tell that much of a difference but I do shave my legs every day so I only really shave little stubblies. I also used this on my arms and my skin is very soft. I really hate lotions and how they make my skin feel, so I am glad I feel soft without using lotion. It also rinsed off easily. this is a pretty gentle scrub but I will prob use this every other day or every2 days. Mostly to conserve it now, the smell..... soooo good!! I am sensitive to smells and I was a little afraid the coconut would smell too artificial sunscreeny but its a very light and fresh coconut lime. The smell does not linger on the skin (which I prefer because I wouldn't want all my shower products to start combining on me and compete with my perfume?) If you want something that will linger on your skin I am sure you can find some kind of body spray that would smell the same. tree hut always ends up being my go to sugar scrub ... show more

I bought this about 3 months ago for the first time and re-bought it again as a Christmas gift for my husband. I use this to shave and it creates the perfect surface area for the razor to go over so that it doesn’t scrape against your skin but still get low enough to shave off the hair. It comes out pretty thick and has a lot of sugar but it doesn’t scrape up your skin! It has a good smell too. Pairs perfectly with the sugar scrub in Coconut and Lime. This product is THE BEST as used before shaving and in shower daily as well. It leaves skin so soft. It's difficult to "overuse" the product as i do with typical Bath & Body works scrubs which come out too quickly and too much of the product comes out of the tube with each squeeze of bath and body works scrubs...but this one doesn't all come out at once and i find myself using just the right amount each time and getting a better bang for my buck. I really love the smell and consistency of this product. And it works great to keep my skin feeling smooth and, YES, i do get a great shave every time on my legs after applying this first. ... show more

So Nice
This is such a good scrub. It smells amazing - not too fragrant but very fresh and relaxing. It is rough enough to really feel like its doing something, but not so rough that it is painful or causing redness. I will say the packaging is a bit fiddly. The scrub is thick enough that when I try to snap the lid shut, sometimes it can't shut all the way and I have to spend a few minutes trying to make it snap entirely closed. A tub, like the regular scrubs by Tree Hut, would be a better design or maybe if they wanted a bottle - a twist top would work. But the cap is certainly not a good enough reason for me to not purchase this because I think its fantastic otherwise. It made my skin so incredibly soft and took away all the dead skin, adding a healthy glow back to my skin. I didn't need too much either to have the desired effect, so I imagine 1 tube is going to be quite long lasting for me since I will only use this maybe twice a week max if not less than that. Were have you been my whole life 🫵 Never & I mean Never have I gotten to shave my face without cutting my chin & under my nose 👃🏻 before. This is the absolute very best there is. & YES it smells so good you do want to eat it 🤗 yeah Don’t though. The after shave oil is also epic I’m sold for life 🥰

Love this shave prep sugar scrub
This is a great sugar scrub for prep to shave. I got it with the shave oil and the body butter all in the same coconut lime scent. It smells so good! It works well in combination with the shave oil. The shave oil has changed my shaving game for sure and I will never go back to shaving cream! I have a hard time finding this in stores so it's nice that I can find it on Amazon and get a deal with subscribe and save. ... show more

This stuff is perfect!
I have a problem with ingrown hairs, and this really helps. It goes on thick so you can spread it to wear you want. Then wet it a little and it becomes gritty. It smells great and works great! It’s A little hard to get out of the lube because of the thickness, and it’s very expensive for the small amount that you get. But overall I’m happy with it ... show more

Depends on your exfoliating goal
For the reviews, I guess I imagined better product texture and consistency. It smells great but I don’t believe it really scrubs and works into the skin the way other exfoliating products do. If you’re looking for a very light, daily exfoliant in place of a routine body wash, use this. It definitely meets the claim for moisturizing properties. However, if you’re looking for something more coarse but still provides the ease of a tube dispenser (not solid scrub in a jar) buy any of the Alba Botánica products instead as they are far superior. They come out as a controllable paste that actually holds together when you’re using it in the shower. I wanted something to actually remove dead skin, and this just doesn’t cut it. ... show more
