Wow, this is indeed an impressive mattress. I ordered this for my son who has outgrown his toddler bed and I'm a bit envious since it is so comfortable. Definitely better than my husband's and my bed. It is very well made, soft but firm. It arrives vacuum packed, like all box mattresses and takes shape in no time at all. The look of the mattress is lovely and it's kind of a shame to cover it up with sheets. The sides have a soft black velvety material (photo added for reference) and even the handles are fancy for a mattress. The depth is 12" so it does require deep pocketed fitted sheets. My husband was even impressed by how much comfier this one is to our less than year old, way too soft mattress. The cost is amazing considering the high quality and I highly recommend this mattress to anyone who has yet to find such a well balanced, quality mattress. ... show more

if your only back or belly sleeper will be great super nice quality. but if you alternate like me to side sleep wont work. i only use firm but construction wont conform if you alternate sleep position to side

For the price it's very good. Supportive and plush. Didn't need much venting. Opened it to expand when received in the morning, slept on it that same night. My personal preference is I would like it a little more firm, so might try the extra firm next time. As someone mentioned the edge can buckle if you sitting close to the edge, but it's certainly not an issue for me. I'm 104 lbs Gave it only 4 stars because I'd call it medium firm. ... show more

This is a really nice thick mattress. It is on the firmer side but is super comfortable. Comes vacuumed packed and self inflates in a moments once unwrapped. No strong chemical smells. Great Mattress!

this could have easily been a great mattress, if they had added a thick layer of support foam in the edge areas. As it stands right now, there is virtually no edge support. when, or I should say IF you are able to sit anywhere along the edge of this mattress, You will sink down and fall off.
