Features

  • Ideal for Quick Stops - The lightweight, compact OTTOLOCK Cinch is an innovative theft deterrent designed for short stops on any bike or e-scooter ride. The cinch design is perfect for mid-ride stops and errands without weighing you down
  • Ultra Lightweight - The 18 Original Cinch Lock weighs only 145 grams (0.3 lbs); much lighter than a U-Lock. It coils down to just 3 in diameter when not in use and can easily be carried in a pocket, saddle bag, or backpack, or on your bikes frame
  • Patented Design / Made in USA - The Cinch Lock is hand-built in the USA with three layers of stainless steel wrapped in aramid fiber jacket that resists the cutting and sawing of many theft tools. The band is coated in anti-scratch Santoprene plastic to protect your bike frame and is designed with a resettable 3-dial combination
  • Versatile - The Cinch Lock design is perfect for electric scooters and e-bikes. Its also great for other outdoor uses such as watersports, moto, snowsports, and construction
  • Convenient Security - The Cinch Lock is not a replacement for a U-Lock. The Cinch Lock provides an easy-to-carry solution to prevent opportunity theft. All bike locks can be defeated with proper tools, technique, and time. OTTOLOCK recommends redundant locking with a quality U-Lock, for long duration lock-ups and in areas prone to theft

  • Secure, Strong and light. What else would you want?
Style: 30" Hexband (Gray)
Fabulous lock. It is quite light and very strong. Certainly I would not lock up an out of eye sight $5,000 bicycle but it give one great confidence when you stop at the coffee shop or run in to mail a package. While it's venerability it to snips few petty thieves have those. I bought one for my son so he can lock his bike while at school and it is easy for him to operate. I would highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Light weight, easy to use protection for your bike.
Style: 60" Original (Otto Orange)
Light weight and easy to carry. I have several of these locks. I keep some attatched to my various bikes so I am never without. I took a 60 inch lock with me while traveling in Europe. Keeping lugage weight down is essential, so no one wants to sacrifice 5 pounds to a lock. But no one wants their precious bicycle stolen either. I could lock my bike nearly anywhere while visiting museums, shopping or sight seeing. Is this a cheap lock? No. But would you trust your bike's safety to a cheap lock? I don't think so. And I like that I can set my own combination code. ... show more

  • Garbage
Style: 30" Original (Flash Green)
I know what you are thinking - yea there are tons of bad reviews stating the cable can be cut in 2 seconds, and the lock gets jammed and stuck, but it couldn't be that bad right? I'll just give it a try..... Yea well you'll be wasting your time. Of course you can get your money back. But I'm telling you it's garbage quality. And not just because it can be easily cut through. That didn't matter to me. Actually maybe you should just go ahead and try it so you can also be super inconvenienced and leave a bad review and this company will finally be driven off Amazon and the face of the retail world. Because the product is that bad. I had this thing out of the box it came in for less than 5 minutes when I knew it was being returned. The first thing you will notice is that the locking mechanism is complete garbage. Super flimsy. The numbers don't align well. There isn't really a line to tell you where to align the numbers. They sort of align half way between the spot they are supposed to be in and the next spot. Where do they go? It's total chaos and garbage quality. Well I immediately tried resetting the combo from the default 000 combination. I followed the instructions exactly and when I inserted the cable into the lock afterwards it would not come back out. And never did so again. I'm not going to go on and on. This product is terrible. And WAY overpriced. And VERY EASY to cut (see other reviews and videos). It can be snipped with $5 clippers. But you know what - the price and the ease at which it can be cut was ok with me. I was going to use this for my OneWheel when in bars and restaurants and the OneWheel was nearby me. I wanted it just so someone can't grab it and run. So I bought it. I'm an idiot. Should have believed the reviews. ... show more

  • The perfect lock
Style: 30" Original (Stealth Black)
I carry my Hexband lock wherever I go. It’s small, easy to pack in my jersey pocket and due to its design, I know when I stop in to grab a coffee, my bike will be there. It’s a great choice for anyone who needs a compact, reliable, and strong lock for those short breaks during a long ride!

  • Convenient, small, and pretty good
Style: 30" Original (Otto Orange)
I have one of these for quick trips around town where I want to lock my bike, but I'm not thinking I need maximum protection. The best features are that it's small, and coils up easily with it's own retention. It's reasonably light and small enough that it fits in my jeans back pocket or similar. The main downside I find is that the numeric combo lock is a little finicky to use. It's small and just hard (than I'd like) to turn each dial individually. But, otherwise, great little lock that fits my particular need. ... show more

  • Just what I needed
Style: 30" Original (Flash Green)
The 30" Ottolock is a small, lightweight lock which I rate as a great 5 min lock. I use it at the park when I have to go to the restroom or at subway/jimmy johns when I want to get some lunch quickly midway through my bike ride and not have to keep one eye on my bike at all times. Plus it gives me some protection while I go to the bathroom. Recently I used it on the two day RSVP (Ride from Seattle to Vancouver and Party) bike event, at the rest stops when there are a hundred bikes scattered everywhere, none of them locked... This bright green (visible) lock is the perfect deterrent to make thieves look at the other 99 unlocked bikes there (philosophy: you don't have to be faster than the bear, only faster than the guy next to you). If you use this lock, don't think of it like a U-Lock but more like a kids curly cable lock. It'll stop the casual opportunity thief and slow a career thief down. This is exactly what I needed and meets my use-case perfectly; light, small and strong enough. As far as length goes, the short Ottolock is fine with me. it's small enough to fit into my seat bag along with my spare tube, CO2 cartridge, tire irons, and small snacks. I only lock the front tire and frame to whatever structure is there. ... show more

  • Light, easy to use combo lock
Style: 30" Hexband (Gray)
I loved that the lock was light, compact, and easy to use. It gave me peace of mind when I would go into a grocery store, for instance, as I could quickly and easily lock the bike to a bike stand or sign post. As per the product literature, this lock is not the most secure as it could be cut using power tools or bolt cutters quite easily but for its weight and compactness it’s a great option for bicycle touring where you just need something to deter the temptation of rolling the bike away. Loved the product. ... show more

  • Great idea but poor execution
This luck is certainly convenient and saves a lot of space. Initially, it works fine. After a few months if use, I went to unlock it and the button would not press. Played around with the numbers until, fortunately, I happened upon a combination that worked. So, the lock spontaneously changes the combination. I could be a real bummer if you come out to your bike and can't unlock it. This happened to me twice. Fortunately, the second time it was when I was applying the lock not removing it. It also becomes very difficult to insert and remove the scrap from the lock mechanism after a while. I have purchased two of these hoping the second would be better. But, it's not. I'm throwing it out and using my reliable cable combination lock. ... show more
