This lock is awesome! SUPER lightweight and ultra portable. I get tired of carrying around my U Lock when all I need to do is run a quick errand. I highly recommend. I would suggest that people read the included instructions for how to set the combo the first time. It is super easy once you try it out, but the first time took a little getting used to. Also know that because the band has ridges in the construction, it feels a little firm to push the band through the locking mechanism. Not an issue at all, but again at first it takes a minute to get used to. If you ride your bike a lot, or even have a nice stroller for your kids that you take to public parks, this is exactly what you need! ... show more

... but it *looks* more secure than a zip tie and that's what really matters, in the right environment. This lock can *easily* be removed just by pulling it apart with bare hands. I can't say that about most zip ties, even the little ones. But it's visible, orange, and says "my bike is locked up" but you know it isn't. Will the "thieves" know? Probably. But it does signal to them that someone cares, just enough, about their bicycle to present it as "locked". ... show more

I bought this lock as a secure and convenient method to lock my bike on quick in-and-out trips. However, I should have broadened my scope to also factor in reliability. After two weeks the lock is already useless and now I find myself having to cut my bike free. Worse yet, my bike is stuck and I risk it getting stolen until I obtain a way to cut it free. This lock has turned into a disaster... wasting my time and money... as though life isn't stressful enough right now. ... show more

The company is straight forward regarding the purpose of this lock. It is a great short term theft deterrent......Grocery store; beer and a burger; things of that nature... .... My only issue is the small numbers on the combi are hard to read without my reading glasses.... And when i jump on my bike, reading glasses are generally not on my mind. Sunglasses, yes.... In sumnation.... turning 50 sux, lol, and this is a nice lock but not for long term or overnight exposure. ... show more
