Does exactly what you expect. Protects the phone everywhere. I was struggling to find a durable case for my Flip3 that also has full protection over the fold point. This case does exactly that and not with just straps that still leave most of the hinge exposed to dust, sand, grime. Honestly it scares me to know what that does to it overtime! Now I'm worry free and have a heavy duty case too! Only one complaint. After time, the hinge cover loosens up a bit and makes a tiny grinding noise when you open the phone. Also wiggles a little. Still going strong. I've had this case for a long time and it hasn't had any issues, is nice and sturdy and looks good on the phone. If I could change one thing it would be the flap that covers the fold when the phone is open keeps the phone from laying flat on a surface. To be honest, I'm so used to it now that I don't notice. I purchased the Caseborne V phone case February 8th (last month) and it only lasted a month on my brand new Samsung Z Flip 5 before breaking at the hinge. It now shows the Samsung logo and exposes the middle of the phone which is the most vulnerable area to receive damage. I did not drop the phone a single time and I always open and close it gently as I do not want to crack the screens or damage it. In my experience, not getting the cheapest, you usually will get a quality product. That wasnt the case here. Also, whenever I would open the phone to answer a call, the phone would slide up leaving an inch or so open on the bottom and then the lower part of the phone would come out. Doesnt seem well made. I just wanted others to know my experience. I missed my return window by 2 days so am now out over $40, which is a lot of money to some of us... ... show more

Finding a suitable case for my Galaxy Z Flip 4 has been quite a chore. πŸ₯΄ I knew I wanted one with hinge protection but almost all the ones I initially tried had weak magnetic 🧲 connectors or no hinge protection at all🚫. When I found this one I was excited to give it a try, despite it being the priciest of all the cases I've tried. Pros: βœ… Durable material; most other cases felt flimsy or even brittle at best. This material feels substantial and is not slick; easy and comfortable to grip. Not so textured that I couldn't adhere a pop socket though. 😁 βœ… Construction is thoughtful and extremely protective. Raised edges around the front and back screens. πŸ‘πŸΌ Does not interfere or hinder any button functionality, speakers/mic πŸ”Š or charging port. Definitely superior shock protection for drops. I have dropped the phone a couple of times now from 3-5ft and had absolutely no issues or damage. πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ βœ… Hinge protection✨ and this was what really sold me on this case. It isn't flimsy, doesn't interfere with the fold functionality and is the best design of all I tried (at least 4 other cases)! βœ… Super simple install. Literally took maybe 2-5 seconds. Case is all one piece and slides right on. Is a bit trickier to get off πŸͺ„ but that is a pro for me because I want the case to be snug! Cons: ❌ No build in screen protection. I understand this for the inside face but it would have been an easy addition for the back screen and cameras. πŸ“Έ ❌ Does add a slight amount of bulk to the phone so a pop socket or ring type grip option would have been nice. ❌ Covers the left fingerprint scanner which could be an issue for lefties. ❌ Pricier than pretty much all the others I tried. Buuuut you get what you pay for πŸ€·πŸ»β™€οΈ ❌ Not too many color options. 🌈 Tbh I struggled to come up with cons for this case. None of the cons were deal breakers for me, just slight modifications I felt might make something great even better. It truly is the best designed case I tried of all the ones I have tried.
