Very good folio case overall. i've been looking for folio case with good protection and thin front cover and this case meet all the criteria that i am looking for. Most of the folio case has thick cover with multiple slot for cards and i don't want that because i won't use the case to store cards... this one has just a minimal one slot, which is perfect. Leather quality is okay, not the best but not the worst. i like the fact that there is magnet that help the front slap cover stay closed. The magnet does not help wake up the phone when the cover is being lift up, but that's fine with me, coz with iPhone X, you can just tap the screen to wake up the phone. Otter box has always had a great reputation for making good, protective, stylish phone cases. The Strada series for iPhone X is no exception!! Beautifully crafted in genuine leather, this case will be sure to turn heads at the office, on the street, or really anywhere you go!! The magnetic closure secures the front cover both when closed and opened. The case itself adds little bulk to the device and really feels protective while also being comfortable to hold in the hand. I’ve owned a Strada case for iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, and I’m proud to continue that tradition with my amazing new iPhone X!! Not sure who the other reviewers bought their cases from, but I made sure mine was from Amazon. This case holds 2 credit cards, my drivers license and my health insurance card without being bulky or causing the front flap to not close properly. I ordered this case and a Burkley Detachable wallet case to arrive before my X was delivered. I really wanted to use the Burkley case but it is so darn heavy and bulky that it barely fits in my pocket. This Strada case is as slim of a wallet case you can get and offers stellar protection. Never had an Otterbox case before this, I used to use the DoDo Case leather pouch wallet with prior iPhones and loved it. I already love this case more. I haven't had issues with sound so I have to wonder if people are ordering from shady 3rd party sellers. My favorite phone case to date no doubt. ... show more

    • Great with a couple flaws.
I wanted to give this case 5 stars. I mean it’s an Otterbox, it’s leather, and it’s a wallet. And I really like the case. It’s nice looking, is easy to grip, and the magnetic latch works great. However, a couple flaws take it down a notch for me: First, it has no kickstand feature. I was aware of this when I bought the case, but still. Nearly every other wallet case you can find has the ability to fold into a kickstand for video viewing. I’d much rather have a kickstand than a card slot. Speaking of which, the card slot is a bit impractical and only made to hold one card. I won’t be using it anyway, but it is worth mentioning. I should also note that the inside sleeve of the case is a lot slicker than the outside, so if you’re holding the case open and folded back, the grip is not good. Good case, and I’m happy with the purchase, just be aware of the faults. ... show more

I love this cream white color leather cover with inside holder (under front closure cover). Phone well protected, and case is so elegant. My friend wants one for hers ( not sure if one is made for Samsung). I conditioned mine and waterproofed ( just because its light and I could). Even after putting it in new dark jean dress pocket which turned it blue.. it wiped off fine. leather conditioner or coconut oil works great. Love the case! ... show more

Best case I have ever owned. This is my third one. Wore the first case out on my previous phone. Bought a replacement. Bought a third one for my new phone, which is still going strong. Nice case, I also read the reviews ahead of this purchase. It really only holds 2 cards maximum. But its made with good quality and appears like it will last. I have a desk job so my devices and cases last longer. This case may not make it through a very physical day job. The front flap has a magnet so it closes well but after you put 2 cards in it and your protective glass is on the screen it doesn't close tightly. Overall a nice case, a stand isn't really important to me but it would be nice to have as well. ... show more

Extremely happy w/ my iPhone X cover by Otter Box. Bought and returned another "Tan" leather cover that looked fancier/ more formal, but in person it looked much too "orange", and therefore appeared way too feminine for my tastes. This brown leather Otter Box is the perfect shade of distressed/ worn brown for a guy - very rugged, with matching brown REAL man-sized heavy bumpers (not the almost invisible/ will it really save my phone from a direct corner-drop onto a concrete garage floor during a V8 engine swap, from fender or car roof height ??) on all exposed corners and edges. The inevitable nicks and marks the distressed leather picks up over time with hard use only add to the character - exactly like the material of a brown leather courier bag that Jack Bauer would have over his shoulder, while saving the US from evil doers!! Even moisture that gets on it (when the airport mens room is out of paper towels) leaves no trace after drying. In typical guy-shopping fashion, I plan to buy more of them if I ever lose this phone (or get a newer/bigger iPhone) No more shopping required next time, as long as Otter Box still makes these! ... show more
