I would have given this a perfect rating if it hadn’t come a little bit damaged. The weaving isn’t the best. The wicker type material came already a bit frayed and not quite snug to the frame. We ended up using gorilla glue to make sure all the wicker stayed flush with the frame.

This chair is used in a game room. It suffices for the intended purpose, not yet sure if it was a good buy or not. It takes two people and about an hour to put it together. The holes were drilled through the rattan wrapping so expect that the wrapping will start to come off sooner rather than later. The swivel mechanism works well and kids seem to like sitting in it. The pitch of the back is such that it makes you lay back which is probably typical of this chair style. ... show more

The reason for the 3 stars is based on wear and tear over time. The plastic wrapping that covers the frame unraveled, leaving it looking old and abused. It had very little use, maybe 10 times and I noticed it had began to unravel. Pros: Pretty design and color, cushion is comfortable, swivel feature is nice. So far the frame is holding up, but again, they don’t get used often. If yours will be used frequently, you will need to baby it 🙂 ... show more

Contacting the manufacture was a headache to get missing parts so I ended up going to Lowe's to get the missing nuts I needed. The wicker holes didn't line up with the holes in the metal so I ended up breaking through the wicker for assembly- even after finagling the wicker to expose the metal holes. Attaching the holder to the base tripped me up. Lol make sure you offset the base because my blonde self didn't and spent an hour trying to attach the base by sticking my fingers between the small space to tighten the bolts. *facepalm* Not to mention it comes with a warning sticker for lead exposure on the box which I hope is related to the base and not the cushion. I grew up in a time when papasan chairs were still all the rage. At that time they were huge with extra fluffy cushions. That is what I was looking for with these without breaking the bank since they are only used in my bedroom seating area. I’m not disappointed, but these could be better. My main gripe really is the cushion itself. It’s not super comfortable at all. It actually is uncomfortable if sat in for extended periods. Considering just buying all new cushions. As far as assembly, instructions were clear and they didn’t take long to put together. Quality of the chair itself is ok. It’s really sturdy on one hand but the cushion issue is on the other hand. ... show more
