Picked this up a few weeks ago and it’s been solid. Folds out, plugs in, and you’re ready to go. No setup or tools needed. Literally click it into place and start creating. I was engraving within 10 minutes. It’s compact, quiet, and easy to store. Doesn’t take over the whole workbench, which I appreciate. Looks clean and sleek. It is 9.5"x8.75"x9.5" or 24x22.5x21.5cm. The 5W laser cuts 3mm plywood in one pass with no problems. Engraving is sharp and fast. I’ve used it for wood, leather, and even tried QR codes just for fun. Works great with LightBurn. Just set it up as grbl. Safety features are great. Auto shutdown, lid stop, tilt detection. Everything all built-in. I do like that it has a USB key that makes it so it doesn’t run unless the USB is connected, which is a good safeguard if you’ve got kids around. There’s a quick guide printed right on the base, which is smart. Makes things simple. I had previously purchased the Ortur 1.3W IR module. With it installed i have a working area of 95mm for Y axis and 105mm for X axis. If you’re looking for a compact, powerful engraver that’s easy to use and doesn’t need a learning curve, this is a good pick. I'd buy it again. I think it is a great value for the price.

I love this little laser engraver. Its portable and so easy to use. I already use lightburn and it works great with lightburn so I didnt have to learn another design program. The app makes quick projects super easy as well. Arrived FAST and was easy to set up and use! I love this for beginners and anyone looking to travel with it.

Came with board, underlay metal, and 3 measuring rods, but no hardware to attach the rods. I reached out to customer service. Lynn was fabulous and helped me resolve the issue quickly and better than I could have ever expected. Thank you Ortur!!!

I was very excited to try this laser engraver because the design looks modern and the idea of a portable engraver sounded very convenient. Unfortunately, my experience with this product was disappointing The device did not perform as expected. The engraving results were inconsistent and the machine did not feel reliable during use. I tried working with different materials, but the results were not clean and the performance did not match what I expected from a laser engraver in this category Another issue was the setup and overall usability. It was more complicated than it should be, and the connection with the app was not very smooth. Because of this, the experience became frustrating instead of enjoyable Overall, the product did not meet my expectations in terms of quality, reliability, and ease of use. Based on my experience, I would recommend researching other options before purchasing.
