The unit worked great when it was actually working but I have had a few issues with the unit one it will not connect to my MacBook Pro. Second when I am engraving at mid to high speed ( High speed is one of the selling point of the unit ) it shakes violently and then shuts off third the lens is cracked. I have send them numerous emails requesting help. They send me an email saying to tighten two screws which I had already done. Then they told me that I am going to need a new mother board and a new laser head. Then they ghosted me. I have send email after email with no response from them. So now I have this incredibly looking 8 month all paper weigh. Amazon won’t help because it is outside the 30 day window. Good luck to any fool who buys this unit. Save a few more bucks and go buy and X-tool D 1

My laser was never assembled properly. I couldn't get it to engrave anything so I removed the orange eye protective cone and then removed the cone for the air pump to see if I could move the laser lower in hopes to adjust the focus. Once I removed the cone for the air pump, a brass ring and lense fell out. When I looked further I saw that the main lense was covered with a white smoke. Now I know why the laser won't engrave anything. I've emailed Ortur support several times, providing them with their requested information but do not have a resolution from them to date.
