Post op care- very well made and comfortable. Just be sure to measure as the short length turned out not to be tall enough for my post op care even though I am only 5 feet tall.

I have an inflammatory condition, mesenteric panniculitis, which causes me to have frequent general abdominal pain. Not much to do for it other than do things to keep inflammation at bay. However, I noticed by accident that my back support seemed to alleviate the abdominal pain if I had it snug and positioned just right. But a back brace isn't great for daily wear. Then I read on a forum that abdominal binders also help some people's dysautonomic symptoms, which I am also a suspect for. Honestly, I forget to wear it but when I do it really does help with the abdominal discomfort. Best of all, it doesn't dig into me if I position it right and it's very discreet. I can put it on under my normal clothes or between an undershirt and overshirt without anybody thinking I've got a girdle on. It's an inexpensive way to help with any number of applications and is very good quality. ... show more

cons: - velcro is the same height as the belt in loose state, and when belt is stretched, the velcro contacts your belly parts. it's a pain after a day of wearing. - after a day of use it looks not that new with loosen sides. pros: good breathing in mid-high temp.

I bought another model from this company, but it was too tight, and the edges where it connected seemed to pitch my skin. I returned it and bought this model. It is much more comfortable. However, I did not see in the ad that it included the hernia pad, and I would have to purchase one separately; it only said compatible with the hernia pad, although the pad was included. ... show more

Actually bought this because I have degenerative disc disease. I’ve tried other back braces but they were too rigid and didn’t fit well. This one does and even though it’s soft, it gives me the support I need to ease the pain in my back.
