I would say STOCK UP! I highly recommend this product for anyone with braces! I have had my braces since April 2024 and I must say, this is the best wax I tried so far. It's easy to put on and easy to apply. It is pre package in a group. With clean hands, rip one, open package and apply. It stays in place all night long. This great for traveling and on the go. There a slight minty taste and I have also ate and drink with this product. It performs well when I sleep. You can apply more than one to a particular area when the wire pokes. Don't worry about it not sticking. It activates when in contact with your saliva, so it would be best to make sure your hand are clan and dry when applying. It will become slippy and hard to place in desired location.

I have lingual braces…they go behind your teeth instead of in front. These wax dots have saved my tongue from a lot of pain. They are easy to apply and stay on for the entire day. They are somewhat difficult to remove but I find that they are worth the effort. They are more expensive than the wax strips but I found that these are easier to apply and stay longer.

These are an absolute game changer! I have new braces so of course they are ripping my mouth to shreds. The wax doesn’t stay on well and I’m constantly changing it out. These dots DO NOT move! They stick so well and look so much clearer than the wax and SO SO SO much more comfortable. Must buy if you have new metal in your mouth.

These stay on great while eating food which I like better than using wax. They are individually packaged which I also liked. They sometimes have a hard time staying on initially then stay in great once in place. I have swallowed them before and didn’t even notice, They have no smell or taste. They are a little pricey for the amount you get but work well.

I find dental wax really annoying, so I felt desperate enough to give these a try in spite of the price. Unfortunately, for me they didn't really live up to the hype. I have four brackets that can poke me. The OrthoDots were not super easy to apply. A little easier than was, probably. I'm sure it gets easier with practice, but the same applies to wax. The OrthoDots on my molars didn't stay on very well at all (probably because my top molars are very close and push them off). The OrthoDot on one of my front brackets stayed on until I took it off to brush, but the other came off earlier in the day. I bought a pack of 6 boxes, and I'm sure I'll use the rest of them during my time with braces, but I won't buy more. Fortunately I don't feel the need to cover my brackets all the time.

Our orthodontist suggested using these together with wax strips to cover areas of my sons braces that are irritating his lips/cheeks. These work really well to cover the hooks where bands are attached as they fit right over them. They stick really well, but come off without too much effort and do not leave any wax on the braces or his teeth. These are 100% worth getting. Your kid will appreciate it.

This is a great product but it is a bit pricey. Im using this product as an adult (second time in braces as an adult) and it works great. Fairly easy to install. The only issue is you pretty much have one chance to get it to work and can be challenging trying to place it on back molars. If you mess up on the first try the product is pretty much done which is costly. However it works great once your get it installed correctly and you don’t have to worry about drying the breaker prior to installing. I have to give this 4 stars due to the price alone. A couple dollars cheaper would make it so much better.
