I almost didn’t but this because of the reviews from others saying this wasn’t enough product for what it is designed for.... I’m going to make this clear for everyone who is thinking about buying this.... This is more than enough of the product for what it is design for unless you are trying to be cheap and use this for your whole head, or you literally got a big head which you are looking at the wrong item..... This relaxer is ONLY for the perimeter of your head.... It even says it on the package( which I attached as a photo).... It’s enough to use just for the new growth on your edges, side hairs, and back hairs.... NOT the whole head.... I’m glad I took a change and brought instead of reading the negative reviews of it not being enough.... I still had so much left over even after putting it on the enter perimeter of my edge... attached the picture of the remainder relaxer as well... please y’all stop being so negative and putting up false reviews when y’all just trying to be cheap... Y’all messing it up for the people who actually need it for the right reasons... the only downfall for this is that it doesn’t come with anything to mix it in so you have to use your own plastic mixing bowl.... that’s it! ... show more

For starters I bought this because I have given up on perming my hair altogether, but my edges and back hairs kink up bad and won’t lay down at all, especially annoying since I still get my hair braided with edges out. So I wanted to see if there was some type of edge relaxer or something, just for smaller parts and there was. It worked well, none of my hair came out, and it was a pretty easy and straight forward process. The reviews of people who said there wasn’t enough are lost-there was plenty for the front, sides, and back. I even had extra left over. I need to touch up my new growth and truly had no time to go go a salon. I decided to finally try this zone relaxer. I was a bit scared as I have never done my own relaxer. Info about the product: this is a ZONE relaxer. It's not meant to be a regular relaxer for a full head of. It comes in a small packet of the relaxer and neutralizer. JUST as it says. Well, it worked PERFECTLY for me and I've now used it twice. My hair is short (not pixie) but juuust at my shoulders. I actually did my entire head and not just the edges! My hair took it and it relaxed it well! AND there has been product left over both times. So, for the all the negative reviews, dont worry. People didnt actually read what the product is. I usually do relaxers at the salon and haven’t since the end of February, but since salons don’t seem like they’re opening back up anytime soon in my state I decided to give this a try. It was just enough product for me to cover my new growth, didn’t make my head itch or burn and the instructions were super simple. I have thin coarse hair. Thin at ends and thick to the scalp after I made the mistake of using optimum relaxer that caused scalp burn and hair damage. Four weeks later we tried this mildest formula. It didn't burn and did not melt down hair like Optimum/ African Pride did to me in the recent past even after leaving it on for a few minutes. Hair came out softer.
