I have 2B/3A ethnic but non-Afro thick hair and this relaxer worked wonders! I made sure my hair was already straightened with a flat iron for a few days before applying this. I left it on for 15-18 mins, and my hair is pretty straight. When it’s wet it appears a bit wavy, but it dries straight. My ends were FRIED after, but that is to be expected with any relaxer. I used a separate keratin conditioner from Amazon and my hair is back to silky. I haven’t used the leave-in conditioner yet because I’m scared the scent is too strong for me, but the shampoo and conditioner it came with worked well and didn’t make me itch. Hair is beautiful, soft, well conditioned and straight. I had a tiny bit of breakage, but it was the hair that already was damaged. No new hair damage occurred and I straightened yesterday. Love it.

I was natural for over a year but decided to go back to my relaxer for easier styling. My natural hair is unmanageable, dry, split ends, super tangled, you name it. I did some research and found good reviews on Dominican Magic relaxer. So I decided to give it a try. The relaxer definitely straighten my virgin hair really well. Though, the neutralizer didn’t help at ALL. I am on day 3 of consecutive washing and deep conditioning. My hair was so dry, I couldn’t comb it. I also shed a good amount of hair. I have deep conditioner in my hair right now. I only straightened my hair on Monday 6/29. Today I used a different brand neutralizer, applied conditioner and then deep conditioner. Though, my hair is very straight. I kept the relaxer in no more than 20 minutes. Not sure if will this product. Five ⭐️ Only because it really straightened my hair. ... show more

    • One package in the perm box was empty.
I like this product but there was 1 thing wrong, one of the hair package had been squeezed out or smashed. Anyway I wat cut short when I opened the box.
