First: THIS WILL TAKE ANY COLOR HAIR DYE OUT OF YOUR HAIR . IF YOU HAVE COLORED HAIR, BUY THE COLOR SAFE ONE. My curl/wave pattern is a mixture of 2c wavy and 3A curly. My hair is also super dry and gets frizzy easy. If I am wearing MY HAIR straight I absolutely have to blow dry it and straighten it(and use tons of anti-frizz products. And on the days that it rains or it is humid outside my hair gets super frizzy and puffy. So living in Georgia where we have very humid summers typically during the summers I have to wear my hair pulled back, or curly with a good cast to keep it from getting puffy, bc no amount of frizz ease or moisturizing hair cream helps. I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO JUST WASH MY HAIR AND LET IT AIR DRY, OR ONLY WASH AND BLOW DRY. This product has SAVED me so much time. My hair feels healthier than it has ever felt It is so soft and shiny. And I can literally wash my hair brush it and go and when it dries it is still straight and not poofy/frizzy. So far it has been about 3 weeks and my hair is still amazing! For those who said it didn't work I fully believe they did not follow the instructions and do it properly. It is a long process but if you do it properly I promise you you will achieve the results that you want. The longest part of the process is blow drying your hair after you put the treatment in. After you put the treatment in let it sit on your hair for the amount of time that it tells you which is I think like 20 minutes. After that section your hair and use a very fine tooth comb and comb your hair in sections and get the excess treatment out with the comb. Every time you comb your hair you have to use a towel to get the excess off of the comb, You want to get as much excess out of your hair as you can before you start to blow dry it ,Don't worry if you don't think you've got out enough of the excess treatment, It's fine it will just take you a little longer to blow dry it in. You want to do this in a very well ventilated area, If you don't have big ventilated areas you can do it in you can do it in a small area however I would definitely suggest taking a fan and opening a window and having the fan set up to where it sucks all of the air from inside of the room that you're in and blows it out the window. The blow drying step would be better if you had someone to help you only because depending on how thick or long your hair is it can take a while. It took me about 2 hours to get it dry (no breaks) because it has to be completely dry before you start the straightening phase. I really think people are not letting get all the way dry before they straighten it and that's probably why it's not working as well. So if you have another person that can help you I would suggest it My husband ended up coming again helping me so my arms could take a break. Also do not put anything else in your hair Do not try to put no heat protectant in or any additional conditioners. Once your hair is completely dry that's when you're going to straighten it. I put my flat iron on 450 (typically I only have it at 350 whenever I flat iron my hair) Now, This is an important step because if you do not straighten your hair properly, the treatment may not work as good. Instead of flat ironing my hair the way I normally would which is just three or four sections I actually sectioned it off to smaller sections that way I could really focus on each section. Also you're not going to hold your straightener on each section like some people do when they're straightening their hair and they hold it for a few seconds before they move it down, your going to do medium passes (not fast passes but not too slow bc if you go really slow you risk heat damage) but you're going flat iron each section, with about 10 passes so make sure you really get that treatment to work. My hair is medium thickness. The front of my hair comes down about an inch below my collarbone and the back of my hair comes down to about 2 in above my bra. I used to dye my hair a lot and I would need three boxes of dye. The amount of product that comes with one box of this treatment was plenty and I still had some left over. If you have some stubborn areas of your hair, Where you feel like the treatment didn't work as good You can always use the treatment you have left over and only put it on that one area blow dry it and Let it sit for 20 minutes and flat iron it. Instead of doing your entire head again. (It has a 6 month shelf life after open). However, If you do have long hair I would suggest buying two just to make sure you have plenty. I have fallen in love with this product so much that I have been telling everyone about it! I was not paid for my review I bought this product with my own money after doing research myself on something that will help with my poofiness and my frizz.

Impressive!! Loving my post few days after using the product; compared to a Brazilian brand I used last year, this one was VERY MUCH less deadly with the fumes my hair exhausted from the process. I expected it to be lingering in my house for days, left after a few hours, my hair did not reek of chemicals after everything was finished. Just had my first real wash with my normal products and it’s so soft in my hair, and made sure to dumb down my usual explosion of hair aftermath blow drying, to a silky smooth flat hairdo. Totally in love and making sure to schedule up another round after it starts fading out!

I’m honestly shocked that this actually worked! I have extremely thick, frizzy hair and live in humid Florida definitely not an easy combo. I followed the instructions closely, though I was cautious with the flat iron and only went over each section twice instead of the recommended multiple passes, since I didn’t want to risk damaging my hair. For reference, the front of my hair is bleached, so I was especially careful. Despite my front bleached being a little burnt, the results were amazing! Overall, very happy. Hope it lasts the 12 weeks!

I am no stranger to hair straigtners. I have been doing them for over 20 years. Some professional and others at home. This was one of the toughest. I sectioned my hair off and did small sections at a time. Using gloves it massaged it into each small section. I only used a little more than half of the product. Too much would have been worse. I dried it as instructed but left it on over night before I flat ironed it. The stuff was like having glue in my hair. It was extremely hard to manage and comb through. It felt like a horses mane. I did not wash it that day but waited until the next day feeling that it would have more time to cure. When I finally washed it out, blew it dry and finally flat ironed it the results was as the instruction said. I also have long hair which was more difficult. It has stayed straight for almost a month now and I feel it will work the time full 3 month time. I will probably do it again because it was successful. My hair is not damaged except where I held the hot iron too long. And make sure you get every strand or it will show. This is a lengthy proceedure. It takes time to do it right.

I really don’t know what to say here. I read all, and I mean ALL of the reviews before purchasing. And some I really wished I listened to. I’m still traumatized by the experience. I have insanely thick hair so maybe I was just trying to torture myself here. I tapped out halfway through. The smell guys.. the smell. While I was applying the product I really didn’t think it smelled that bad. But trying to blow dry and flat iron what feels like TOOTHPASTE to your hair is something they probably have POW do. The smell didn’t leave my hair for 3 weeks.. and like I said.. I tapped out after doing half my head. But I will say this.. the side I finished, was straight, smooth, and so easily manageable. Do I wish I would’ve completed it? Yeah. Will I EVER torture myself again. No. I recommend this product ONLY to those who have very thin hair and a lot of time on your hands. And maybe missing a nose.

If you haven't tried this keratin, I invite you to try it, it's the best one. I apply it to myself and it lasts more than 3 months and it's super easy to put on.
