These are the best heated vests on the market. We have purchased other brands and Ororo is by far the best quality. My entire family has one and I have them for myself in multiple colors. They work great alone or under my down parka when I am sitting outside for my kids sporting events. They make great gifts! I have purchased them for so many people for gifts and they absolutely love them. The batteries do a nice job holding their charge. You can get about 10 hours of use on the low heat seating and about 3 hours on the high setting. I love the high setting so I always throw an extra battery in my purse and easily swap them out if need be. They fit true to size and are very comfortable. The only thing I have as a criticism is that the battery is a bit bulky on your hip but still worth it. My husband recently got a new vest and his came with a battery that is smaller than all of mine which is nice. I wish I had more of the smaller battery size. They take a while to charge but we usually just plug them in at the end of the day and unplug them in the morning. Not sure if this is recommended or not, but it works for us. The vests can be a bit pricey but definitely worth it in my opinion. Also, wish they sold additional batteries at a better price point. The battery seems to be the most expensive part of the overall purchase. I also own heated socks and gloves. I highly recommend all of these items! ... show more

I am obsessed with this vest. I have one major tip on the fit, though: don't overthink the layering aspect like I did! I usually wear a small, but I panicked and ordered a medium because I thought I’d need the extra room for laying. It turns out the medium is actually very roomy. You definitely don’t need to size up, just stick with your normal size and you’ll have plenty of layering space. It looks very stylish with a long sleeve shirt and jeans! The quality and comfort is honestly great. It comes with a nice storage bag and the zippers are really heavy-duty, so they don't feel like they’ll snag or break. The best part is how fast it works; it heats up almost the second you turn it on. The heating panels are in the perfect spots, and having heated pockets for my hands - yes please. The only small thing with the design is the collar. Unless I have it zipped all the way up, the fabric tends to flop down and cover the power button logo. It’s a very minor annoyance when I want to check my heat setting quickly (especially to know when it's done warming up) because I have to move the collar out of the way to see the light. I haven't tried to wash it yet because I'm nervous lol, but they include detailed instructions for doing so. I'll be brave one of these days and wash it and I'll come back here with an update. Awesome vest!!! It 1000% could’ve been cheaper, BUT it was worth it. I wore it in multiple occasions while out in Alaska mid winter (-25°C/-13°F average), in multiple different activity levels! Even when off it’s pretty warm actually. I layered up with a base merino wool layer, vest, light jacket and parka, and though my hands were freezing (lol) my core was pretty warm! I really appreciate the design of everything and I really think I made a good purchase, it looks pretty durable to me and I find it comfy. Have only used once so far for about 40 min. The fit is snug for me but wearable. Heat was warm and soothing. It wasnt very cold out so I only had it on lowest setting. at this point, I would recommend it. Its stylish, good quality. This has saved me in the frigid weather during car riders at school. I hunkered down in mine and looked happy enough 2 girls at work asked about it, bought it, and are loving it, too. One plans to buy a 2nd in the other color. It works best fully charged, which lasts a while, but can work down to the last dregs. It's thick enough that sometimes I don't need the heat on. I usually wear a small but got medium so it's not as snug when I have on sweatshirts. It also makes it a little longer on me (5ft2) so it covers my hips. The BEST gift I ever purchased for myself. I used money I received for Christmas to purchase this vest. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this vest! The quality is fantastic, it heats up at three different levels, and it is perfect for anytime the weather is cold or has a chill in the air. It also makes a perfect gift for someone who is always cold, even in their own home. Blankets are nice, but this vest does wonders on an elderly person needing the extra warmth in the house without the fear of tripping when a blanket is wrapped around them. I've even used this under a winter coat for extra warmth when I know I'm going to be outside for a longer period of time. When I'm extra cold, I just turn the coat on. I found out about this product from the ladies at my church. They all have the ORORO brand, and said it is the one on the market. One of the ladies tried out several before she chose this brand.
