This has saved me in the frigid weather during car riders at school. I hunkered down in mine and looked happy enough 2 girls at work asked about it, bought it, and are loving it, too. One plans to buy a 2nd in the other color. It works best fully charged, which lasts a while, but can work down to the last dregs. It's thick enough that sometimes I don't need the heat on. I usually wear a small but got medium so it's not as snug when I have on sweatshirts. It also makes it a little longer on me (5ft2) so it covers my hips. We love the simple style and definitely feel we're getting our money's worth!

I am obsessed with this vest. I have one major tip on the fit, though: don't overthink the layering aspect like I did! I usually wear a small, but I panicked and ordered a medium because I thought I’d need the extra room for laying. It turns out the medium is actually very roomy. You definitely don’t need to size up, just stick with your normal size and you’ll have plenty of layering space. It looks very stylish with a long sleeve shirt and jeans! The quality and comfort is honestly great. It comes with a nice storage bag and the zippers are really heavy-duty, so they don't feel like they’ll snag or break. The best part is how fast it works; it heats up almost the second you turn it on. The heating panels are in the perfect spots, and having heated pockets for my hands - yes please. The only small thing with the design is the collar. Unless I have it zipped all the way up, the fabric tends to flop down and cover the power button logo. It’s a very minor annoyance when I want to check my heat setting quickly (especially to know when it's done warming up) because I have to move the collar out of the way to see the light. I haven't tried to wash it yet because I'm nervous lol, but they include detailed instructions for doing so. I'll be brave one of these days and wash it and I'll come back here with an update. Overall, it’s a high-quality piece of gear and totally worth it for the warmth. Just trust your usual size!

My husband got me this for an early Christmas gift. I use it for about 15 minutes on high, around 8 times a day and the battery lasts about a week. It keeps me very warm. The front pockets and upper back are the only things that heat up but they get hot on high! Its wonderful. The quality of this seems good. I have not tried to wash it yet. It fits nicely over a hoodie. At least the size I got. Which seems to fit loose enough to be comfortable but tight enough to be flattering. I am 5'10, 180lbs and I got an XL. seems pretty true to size. The zipper hasn't caught on anything. Its very comfortable to wear in my opinion. I put the battery in the zipper pocket (where the cord is) but not in the little pocket, I can barely feel it on my back. I know its there. If I put the battery in the little pocket inside the zipper pocket I feel it and its very uncomfortable.

Have only used once so far for about 40 min. The fit is snug for me but wearable. Heat was warm and soothing. It wasnt very cold out so I only had it on lowest setting. at this point, I would recommend it. Its stylish, good quality. IDK about battery life but its easy to charge the battery and connect to vest. If you are measuring somewhat in between two sizes, I would order the larger to ensure its not too snug.

I love my heated vest! I love to wear a hooded sweatshirt with my vest to avoid a bulky winter coat. You never know where you'll end up if it'll be cold somewhere or not so then you have your vest to turn on and keep you warm. The vest is is very comfortable, not stiff, the material makes it easy to slide a coat on over top of it if needed. I even wear my small belt bag under the vest and can still zip the vest up. The battery seems to last a long time, though if i'm outside I'll turn it on high initially and then to mid heat to help save some battery power. I'm 5'6" 165 pounds and bought the Large to wear over top of sweatshirts rather than a smaller size to be underneath layers. People ask me about it everywhere I go. I bought my mother one because she's cold all the time, she wears it daily, even in her house lol. It's really easy to use too; plug the battery pack in inside your pocket and the turn the vest on by the chest button and you're ready to go!

I first saw this item in a Wirecutter article, and I'd not seen anything like it before. Of course, there were older garments of this type where you'd need to use those instant heat chemical packs, but this has built-in heating areas powered by a small, rechargeable battery in an interior pocket. Plug the small cord into the battery, hit the switch, and the warmth begins to flow. I purchased it as present for my wife who feels cold a lot of the time in cooler months, and she loves it. The vest itself is high quality, and the heating elements activate quickly without getting to the point where the wearer might get burnt. If you are or have a constantly-chilly person in your life, this vest is a sure winner.

The media could not be loaded. This vest has saved my life! This is my second ororo vest purchase in the last 3 years. I wear it everyday to work in the wintertime. Fits perfectly over my uniform and keeps me toasty in this -30 degree weather. I even wore this ice fishing and stayed comfortably warm. It’s light weight and easy to use. You can even wash it in the bag it comes in. I charge the battery every evening and it lasts up to 6 hours. You need this vest if you are working in cold conditions or just always the cold one at work!
