I really like this vest. It isnt a puffy one, lighter and thinner. Exactly what I was looking for. It gets warm almost immediately when turning on. I had to exchange for a size down in case you are kind of between sizes you may want to consider that. I wanted mine to be more fitted. I like the blue color a lot. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the battery is a little bulky. I wish is was thinner. I’m sure it is hard to get a long lasting battery that is smaller. Overall very happy so far. Husband surprised me with this vest for Christmas. Our kids play winter sports and it’s so tough staying warm. Only used a handful of times receiving but I can already tell it’s going to get plenty of use! The battery pack isn’t bulky and the size guide is spot on. I sit outside a lot in the winter to allow my dog to play with another dog. I am always layering on clothes and never warm. I got this vest and it is a game changer. It keeps my core so warm I sometimes have to turn it off. The rechargeable battery lasts a very long time. I've worn it for a couple hours, didn't recharge it, then wore it for a couple more hours and it never lost charge. It is kind of slow to charge, but as long as you charge it ahead of time, this isn't a problem. You can turn it on, off, and change the level of heat all with one button up toward the collar. This is great, as you don't have to unzip it or mess with the battery pack while you're wearing it. I'm 5'10" and 150 lbs and I got the medium. There is room underneath to wear a fat sweater, but I actually recommend wearing just a base layer under the vest because the closer it is to your body, the more warmth you feel. When I put a fat sweatshirt under it, I didn't feel the heat from the vest as much. Because of this, I think I could have ordered a size small. But if you have a larger chest, and are the same size as I am stick with the medium. It also has a bunch of pockets that zip closed! I can carry all my essentials such as my phone, chapstick, key, money, etc without carrying a bag. But if you put the vest under a coat or something, it's obviously harder to get into the pockets. 10/10 would buy again...in fact, I got this for my dog's friend's mom so we are both toasty during doggie playtime. ... show more

What's not to like here? If you live anywhere that goes below 50 degrees. If you have kids in cold sports (like hockey). If you like to go for long walks through the fall leaves. Any and all of these are great reasons to just invest in one of these. They are just really good, good fit, comfortable and the elements in the neck and pockets are just awesome. I wear mine (I bought my wife this one) both under or over other things like over a hoodie, but if colder, I'll go under a winter coat. Both ways work great. ... show more

This vest works great. It’s the first I’ve owned. I got it a couple months back to take with me on a trip to Europe. I get cold really easily, and I knew we’d be hiking. Now I’m excited to wear it under my ski jacket this winter. It stays charged a pretty long time, I’ve only had it die on me maybe twice, when I wore it for a long time at the highest setting. The battery takes quite a long time to charge, but overnight works alright. The battery is a little bulky in the pocket near the back left side of the vest, but it’s not a big deal to me if I’m warm.
