These mag ride struts for my 2016 Yukon XL Denali are HEAVY! Packing needs improvement, maybe add a 90 degree cap like OEM? A thin wire comes out of strut with no protection esp since it was stacked ir dropped on that end... breaking both. Customer service was great! Amazon sent a truck (UPS is 40 minutes away) to bring new ones and take the damaged ones back. They weren't too hard to install using a floor jack and 2 jack stands. Though you do need long extensions and deep sockets. A Breakfree & a breaker bar was helpful and you should tightens with a torque wrench. The new struts hreatly improved the ride though I don't notice a difference if its plugged in or not. ... show more

These fit perfect on 2012 Escalade EXT. I have had them a few months so far so good they have definitely improved ride old shock had 100k miles on them. When I went over speed bumps it just went clunk on the old struts. With the new one it will bounce a little. The ride is much smoother. I did replace the rear with air ride as well. Note these do have the magnetic ride adjust (not the by pass kit) The worked seamlessly with the Cadillac electronic suspension system. Note shops will have the tool to recalibrate the suspension system when you put the new ones one. If you do not recalibrate you may get a service suspension system warning light on the dash. If you are a DIY you can disconnect the battery while changing the shocks. Then reconnect afterward but before starting vehicle you turn to on without starting and wait for the suspension light to turn on then go off. Then cycle the ignition off and back on this will recalibrate the suspension system. check your year model tech manual to be sure as different years and models vary on this procedure. Easiest if you have Tech tool to re-calibrate it like the shops do it. Update one of the struts failed after 6 mos. Quality is not there in these struts. Also tried to contact the manufacture for warranty. The listing says they have 1 year warranty however the company has not contacted me or responded to multiple attempts to reach them through their website or through amazon. They have not provided any warranty service at all. Therefore I do not recommend any purchase of these struts or any of their products. They do not stand behind the warranty (or do not have one at all) and the quality of the products is very poor. It will cost you much more in the long run dealing with this company so I recommend get a better product from a more reputable manufacture so you only have to do the repair once. ... show more

Installed these on my 2020 GMC Yukon Denali and had no warning lights, or any of the other issues mentioned. They went in easy and my truck rides sooo much better! We did use the old nuts off my last shocks since these didn’t seem as beefy. But they are great!

Don’t Do It At Home … unless you have e a full shop with a lift … if you want to tuff it out … ok but send it to a shop .. they look like a simple exchange… numbers matched … they work like they should … make sure you clear codes
