Flattering, runs a size large.
Size: Large
Color: Fruitgreen
The media could not be loaded. I wanted the longest, warmest down coat I could find in a vibrant color…not black, navy, gray, or dark olive. I don’t look good in dark colors. They wash me out. I couldn’t get my photos to add, but I just got my Fruit Green coat and it is beautiful! It looks like an olive green in the dim light of my apartment, but a brighter yellow green outdoors, in the sun. I love the brighter shade I see in better light! Fortunately, green is the only color I can wear most shades of. That’s why I bought it, even though I was not sure of the shade, based on photos. I am 202 pounds, 5’7” and 36F. I started out buying XXL. because I usually wear an XL or 0X-1X coat and wanted room for layers. The XXL was too big in the waist. The coat has an elastic section in the rear waist. It looked really funny, with that being baggy. I wasn’t sure if the coat was as thick as I need for the Upper Midwest U.S.. I read reviews saying it fluffs up thicker, after a few days, but I still don’t know that it would keep me warm in -30 F to -50F temps. I found a thin, packable puffer in close to the same color and had ordered it to wear underneath. Base layer puffers are more expensive and some research told me they are, basically, the same thing. I wanted one of the “thickened” coats, but this is more my style, so that was my solution. I was saddened to find that the XL was sold out. Only the Large had ONE left. Surprisingly, it matched my measurements, almost exactly, on the size chart. It came today. It fits like it does on the model, but does not give me her backside. Lol. It still looks good, with a little less junk in the trunk. I don’t think it has room for the packable puffer I bought to go under it, so I will have to see how much cold it can handle. Based on my experience with other coats of this heft, I have already ordered a 750 fill down coat, as well . I think this will be good for wearing dresses under and still keeping heat close to my body, since it’s fairly form-fitting on me. It’s quite flattering, when the snaps are done up, which is rare (for a puffer coat). I can still move comfortably and move my arms freely, which is very important. I had a neck injury that caused degenerative disc disease and dystonia, so coats that are too small in the shoulders are painful! This has room and does not look too boxy, like some that are bigger in the shoulders. However, it could be This will make a nice coat for dressing up and I will also have my “sleeping bag” coat, for when warmth is all that matters. Update: I returned the XXL for a Large and it does fit perfectly! The packable thin down puffer does fit under it, making it an extremely warm coat, altogether. My puffer ran 2 sizes small, so it’s kinda funny…I’m wearing a 4X liner under a Women’s Large coat and it fits perfectly!

Perfect coat for me!
Size: XX-Large
Color: Black
I am 5'6" tall, around 220-230 lbs, with most of my weight in my hips and backside, and the 2xl fits me perfectly. I have shorter arms with thick upper arms, and the sleeve length is perfect with just the right amount of room for my upper arms without being bulky. The zipper can be a little tricky, but once zipped stays in place. And the coat is flattering whether you zip it up or not. The length of the coat hits below my knees at the top of my calf. I am a courier for a major food delivery service and needed a warm coat to work in that wasn't bulky but would also allow me to layer a sweater or hoodie underneath. And this one delivers! (Lame pun intended). The hood is big on me, but I have a very small head. The faux fur is nice though and soft to the touch. This coat is so warm that when I am working in 30°F weather, I sweat if I have a heavy hoodie on as well. All in all, great buy for cold winter weather!!

Down jacket is good, but the zipper is problematic
Size: Small
Color: Navy
The coats is good, warm, comfortable. The drawback is the zipper, too delicate and often difficult.

This coat is great!
Size: X-Large
Color: White + White Fur Trim
I'm thrilled with this coat. I got it in the off-white, love the color. The sleeves have stretch cuffs inside that keep cold air from coming up your arm. Wearing this coat is like wearing a house - you won't get cold! Yet it's very lightweight and doesn't restrict your movements at all. The elastic panel on the back gives you some waist definition and is very flattering. The only issue I have is that the hood is really big, and tends to come down over your eyes; I usually end up cuffing it back. Still, a wonderful coat for a really great price! Oh, forgot to mention something... The wide collar is great because when the hood is up, the collar folds upward inside and is high enough to completely cover and keep your ears warm! I've decided to get one for my mother, too - she's old, and she's cold.

Beautiful, Warm, Stylish
Size: Medium
Color: White + White Fur Trim
What a wonderful coat. For me it is supremely warm, but the coldest it gets here is 28F on a bad day. I ended up using it as my coat and blanket while traveling and absolutely love it. I purchased a M and it fit perfectly with a little room for a sweater underneath. I would have preferred just a zipper with no snaps, but it is fine. I loved this coat so much I also have it in Black. Love the pockets and the warmth. Also, the fur on the hood is not so over large that it gets n the way. It also has a sleek profile, so I don't look like a polar bear when wearing it. Highly recommended, especially when it's on sale!

Could use a few changes
Size: Medium
Color: Armygreen
I really like the drawn in waist on this jacket so it doesn't look so square and the olive green color is very nice. It's seems very fluffy and I assume it will be very warm, but it's got a couple of issues. First, the zipper is difficult to line up. I spent a good 15 minutes trying to get it to line up and work and finally just left it zipped and stepped out of the jacket so I don't have to go through that again. Secondly, the hood is nice and it is detachable, but it's HUGE! I can see how you would want a little extra room to wear a beanie under the hood, but even then, it's so big it falls down and completely covers my face. There's no way to adjust the hood to snug it up or make it smaller.

Favorite winter coat ever
Size: X-Large
Color: White + White Fur Trim
It was -2 when I took that full length picture and I was not cold at all. My hands were a little cold, cause I was out there taking pictures, but this coat has cuffs under the sleeves that keep the air out, and it snaps in the front and it also zips up after it snaps in the hood keeps you warm. Also, I liked it honestly just for the looks but hey, it works for everything. Color was perfect. The weight of it is perfect. You didn’t feel like it was too heavy when you were driving in the car, definitely wind resistant you will not be disappointed like there’s just no way.

no protection from the cold
The zipper doesn't always work. The coat doesn't provide any warmth.
