  • Perfectly flattering! Bought as maternity coat, but will keep in closet forever!
Size: Large Color: Green
LOVE THIS COAT! I'd absolutely recommend, and would buy again in a heartbeat. I am currently 7 months pregnant and bought this coat a month ago, wearing it non-stop since it arrived. It's delightful! I was so skeptical of an affordable garment with so many positive reviews, but I can't imagine a better coat for the price. The bonus is that it's versatile enough to wear through my pregnancy, but stay in my closet permanently. For reference, I am 5'3". Pre-pregnancy, I weighed 150 and wore size M-L shirts with a 36-D bra, and size 10 pants. I am now 7 months pregnant and weigh 175. The size Large fits me as perfectly. Well, as perfectly as any other garment does at this point, even with my big belly! The coat is just constructed in a really intelligent way to look drapey and casual with room for my curvy parts, but still giving me a really long profile that makes me look and feeler taller and slimmer. Plenty of room even still for my chest to get bigger, gain more weight all around, and for my belly to grow. My arm or shoulders are not restricted at all, even when lifting my arms up, driving, lifting or chasing my toddler. I've worn it with bulky sweaters/hoodies underneath, scarves, gloves, the whole winter kit, and it still has room to move and be a human. It's also warm enough that I've worn it with just a t-shirt and leggings underneath and felt toasty warm, and the look or feel of the coat still wasn't too big. Don't be scared off by how much room I'm bragging about! It's not that this size Large is so gigantic, it's just that unlike most other winter coats I've tried, there is actually versatile construction that takes into account the fact that women do have shoulders and arms, and parts of our bodies that are curvier. Even if you were a taller or thinner person, this would drape in a flattering way. There are side panels that unzip all the way up to your hips allowing for a bit more flexibility, and while there is still a panel of fabric holding the the unzipped area together, it's still helpful. There is also a row of snaps on either side of the zipper that can be unsnapped to allow for extra room along your belly and chest without changing the look of the jacket much at all. The pockets are slightly above your hips so there isn't a strange pulling on your hips when your hands/items are in your pockets like in many other coats. There are two huge utility pockets around the waistline that zip up and fit things like your cell phone/small wallet/phone perfectly. See? It's just smart. I do imagine that in a few weeks, I'll have trouble sitting in my car with the coat zipped up, even with the side panels unzipped for that extra bit of room. That's not particularly a problem, though. It will warm up in chilly Kansas City eventually, and I have plenty of room in the coat to wear layers to keep the chill away for the short periods when I may have to move around unzipped when my belly is just so big. For the price, I'd honestly consider buying one size up if I ended up outgrowing the jacket before the baby is born in spring and just donating it when I no longer needed it. If you can only afford one coat and you are just starting your pregnancy, or are already far enough along to have a huge belly, I'd order up a size from your normal measurements just to assure you'd be able to sit down while zipped up without pulling the jacket a little higher on your hips. It might look a bit too big at the beginning, or might not be as flattering post-pregnancy, but not everyone has the luxury of buying multiple specialty items during a pregnancy and your normal non-maternity size might not work as well for you. Bonus- I am usually very allergic to goose and duck down, but the down feathers used in this coat seem to be very clean. I've had no sensitivity to the feathers! It's hard to beat down for warmth, and I'm so glad to have found genuine and clean down for a wildly low price. ... show more

I had had this coat on my wish list for a while, so, when I was about to go on a ski trip and then saw it was on sale for 1/2 off, I jumped on it!! So glad I finally did!! It's so comfy + warm, has so many pockets, and looks great! Quality is fantastic and I couldn't be happier!

  • Great jacket!
Size: Large Color: Black
I bought this jacket for a trip to Canada. After reading many reviews, I had two concerns. First, I wasn't sure which size to order because some reviews stated the jacket runs big, while others said it runs small. I'm 5/6" and carry weight in my torso. I normally wear a medium/large (US women's size 12/14). I wanted the jacket to fit comfortably with or without wearing bulky layers. I ordered a large and x-large, and tried both on with a variety of clothing. I found the large fit as close to perfect as I was hoping for. It provided enough room when wearing more bulky layers; however, it was a bit tight, not uncomfortably so, in the upper arm area and I had to unzip the sides to sit comfortably. It was especially comfortable wearing lighter layers (which is all I ended up needing). The x-large felt too big all over. The other concern was the jacket's quality, as many pictures showed tears at the seams. I haven't owned/warn the jacket long enough to comment on this concern, but will update my review if that changes. I found the jacket (with one or two light layers underneath) kept me plenty warm in temperatures of 30 degrees F, and I was literally sweating when indoors. Interesting side note, while in Canada, I came across five other women wearing the same jacket. Lastly, I bought the jacket during a sale for $95. In my opinion, a great price for the jacket's quality. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase! ... show more

  • Warm and Stylish!
Size: Small Color: Black
I purchased the Orolay Women’s Thickened Down Jacket in anticipation for winter (plus it was on sale!), and it will become my go-to coat for the cold weather. The jacket arrived on time and was well-packaged in its own dust cover bag. Initially, I was impressed with the quality of the material and the fabric feels durable yet comfortable. The fit is true to size. The pockets are well-placed and spacious, perfect for my phone, keys, and cold hands. Another feature I love is the adjustable hood, which is large enough to provide excellent protection against wind and rain. The only downside is that the zipper at times can be a bit finicky, requiring a little bit of patience to get it started. However, this is a minor issue compared to the overall functionality and style of the jacket. This is a fantastic value for its price. It combines warmth, comfort, and style without compromising on quality. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable winter coat. ... show more

  • very warm and cozy
Size: X-Large Color: Green+faux Fur Trim
I was skeptical after reading all of the varied reviews but I am so glad I trusted my gut and bought this jacket. It is so comfortable and warm. I walked my dog outside with temps in the 20s (wind chill in the teens) with nothing on under this coat but a t-shirt and I was sweating by the time I got home! I haven't gone snow skiing with this coat but I can only imagine that it will enhace the experience by keeping me toasty warm! Sizing was perfect. It's roomy enough for a sweater or sweatshirt underneath and I have gotten quite a few compliments about this coat. I love the faux fur lining around hood and that hood is seriously no joke. It's heavy so that it would take a hella strong wind to blow it off your head. Pockets are amazing. Overall functionality of the coat is excellent. It came well packaged with no blemishes. I am looking forward to many more winters with this gem of a coat!! ... show more

  • Love This Jacket!
Size: Medium Color: Gray
Everywhere I go, I see someone wearing this jacket, and now I know why! It's super cute (once it de-puffs itself and loosens up after several wears) and pretty warm. Its not super tight around the bottom so I feel wind and cold through the bottom of the coat ... but still love it and enjoy wearing it! Great, accessible pockets, too! Wearing a medium with long arms ... wish the arms were a smidge longer but the large was too spacios! ... show more
