I didn't want to write a review right away, so I waited a month. After much research, I purchased this a a replacement for my 12 year old inner spring mattress. I followed the directions, unrolled the mattress and released it from its plastic tomb, then waited the 2 days for it to properly inflate to 7 inches, which it did, no problem. We already have a plastic problem, it come shrink wrapped in plastic then wrapped in plastic cling film. If you like a firm mattress, then this is it, it's like sleeping on a pad of concrete. I don't generate much body heat, so I just end up on top of the thing without sinking into it. If you have back problems, like it do, find something else, this mattress will make your problems worse. Some people have told me to 'just wait' till the mattress breaks in. Which is impossible because it's memory foam. Every night it's the same brand new bed, with the same brand new problems. It also slides around a lot on the bed frame considering that it weights 40 pounds, it's just crazy. And those 3 thank you cards are simply a waste of money. For somebody else, it's a real nice mattress, in my opinion you get what you pay for.

I agonized over getting this mattress, I read everything up to some point, when I made the decision. First it arrived a couple days earlier than stated, a bit late in the afternoon. I was ready for it and even "excited'. The unwrapping was easy, albeit a lot of plastic wrap and I wasn't happy with country of origin considering the flooding issues they have, I was worried about mold, a few brands had mold issues... (well there isn't any, so win win) The mattress started getting in shape pretty fast, the corners took a bit longer. It didn't smell as bad as I imagined, based on some reviews. By nightfall I was comfortable sheeting it up for a nights sleep... I have to admit, the first couple nights were "a bitch" my brain couldn't get around it and I thought i might regret the purchase, but my body immediately felt the relief, so I went with the reviews, to give it a couple days. . By the 3rd or 4th night I knew my brain was accepting it, and now... I sleep great. I think I even get an extra hour sleep, since I'm not waking up with hip soreness. Ergo my 5 star review. They say these can get a bit hot, and I do live in So. Cal.. So far that's not problem so I cant address it. I have a cover on it, so we shall see. I chose this model or brand simply for the extra inch, it went to 7", while most others were 6". Its not sitting on boards, so i'm not sure if there is a bottom out, when I jump in, its just swallows me up, very comfortable... Lastly, these mattresses are VERY STABLE, laptops, even drinks stay pretty still, when you or pets or kids are moving in another area... That's a plus in this house. All in all i'm a memory foam mattress convert, I thought I might be making a mistake, now I'm more angry at my self for not doing it earlier... Best $161 Ive spent in a while. I tried to tell it you all, as honestly as I can, I wish I bought it sooner.

Horrible mattress, didn’t inflate to 7 inches and no support you feel the box spring laying on it maybe if it inflated to seven inches it would have been better amazon was good about issuing. Refund will be buying the Zenus mattress

1st night sleeping in this bed was last night. Me and my man loved it. He fell asleep so fast. Said it was so comfortable he couldn't stay awake. I woke up feeling great. No pain. The bed is more firm feeling. But still has the comfort of the memory foam. I'm mostly a stomach and side sleeper and absolutely love this mattress!! Been laying around all day on it with my son to and he loves it as well. Good buy for the price. And it fully expanded during my 8 hour shift at work. So maybe 9 hours tops and it was perfect.

i have always had a box spring and mattress....since this mattress was rated 4.5 stars i thought well it MUST be decent. nope it wasnt!!! first of all it comes in a box which i knew after reading the ad....it says "lay box on side and pull out compressed mattress" .. tried this ... it is impossible to do this after this compressed and rolled mattress is sealed in the box it starts to expand INSIDE the box. I had to cut the box down one side to get this dam mattress out!!! it re-inflates rather quickly set-up is easy! There is NO support from this memory foam it is NOT comfortable it caused me severe back pain!!!!!! on the second night! I will keep this mattress for a seciond bedroom when i have someone over who i do not particularly like...... family member of course!!!! again...DONT BUY ThIS!!!!!!!

Purchased this mattress for a bunk bed that is occasionally used. Expanded to the full advertised 7 inches and although I did not sleep on it, it was comfortable to lay on whereby you could not feel the metal tubular slats beneath.

Full size. Got this for my 10 year old and we have it on a bottom bunk, slatted platform. He rocks and moves a lot and its seems deep and comfortable. I'm not petite, so I expected it to feel thin or shallow. I've been pleasantly surprised, that even when I'm standing on it to reach the top bunk, it feels thick and supportive. No weird smell after the initial packaging. The only downside is the cover is a bit loose, but it doesn't affect the fit of mattress pad or sheets, so it's just aesthetic. No comment yet on the durability since it's still new, but so far it's a really nice value for the money.
