Truly underrated amplifier. Birth sheet was 3200 at 12v but at 14.9 it's closer to 5k at 1ohm I'm running mine at .6ohms for 2yrs now with no problems and never shut off. I also have a limited lithium battery to help with voltage

before you even think about buying this amp ask yourself. Do you have enough electrical upgrades to power a 5-7k amp? This thing is labeled a "3000 RMS" amp but I'd you YouTube Williston audio labs or look up a Dyno run of this amp you'll see it's far from a 3k. It has 3 1/0 power inputs and 3 grounds. That's enough right there to scream you need serious upgrades to run this or you'll blow it. Expect 7-8k at half ohm an anything above 15.3v is going to demolish subs. Proceed with caution but also know Orion has solidified there thrown in car audio. Put some respect on their name! ... show more

I wish I didn’t need to write this review. I would think twice before dealing with Orion. I received this amp in faulty condition. It still worked but never was very loud. I troubleshooted this issue for over a year, and despite never playing very loud it blew 3 subwoofers. 2 of them Orion hcca’s at low volume. 1 kicker. After more than a year I finally came to the conclusion that something had to be wrong with the amp. Because I replaced every other single component at this point. I emailed Orion about this and they want me to send the amp to them so they can figure it out. Sounds great except they said that I would pay to ship it to them. Not ideal but fine. Then they would figure out the problem and fix it. Then they will hold my amp ransom till I pay them for the repairs and return shipping. An amp that I received faulty from them that I paid $700 for that has blown $1500 in subwoofers. They want me to pay to repair and ship both ways and if I send it and don’t pay for the repair they keep it. After explaining this to them in an email they simply just didn’t reply. I will never buy or deal with this company again and I highly advise everyone to do the same. It’s expensive equipment that they have only shown they don’t stand behind unfortunately. ... show more

This amp is a beast !!! Before getting this I was running 2-xtr 2500dz orion amps strapped pushing a def bonce 3515 and they pushed it pretty good but I decided to get a hcca 3000 to try it out and this amp I believe puts out more than the 2 xtr2500 strapped... if you're gonna run this amp be sure to have a good electrical system or else it's not gonna put out to its full potential... I plan to get another one and strap the together. I've ran Orion since the 90s and they've always been some of the best amps... ... show more

I bought this to replace my Taramps Smart 3k. This amplifier is so much more powerful. With 3-0gauge power/ground inputs. I'm running at 3k @ 1 Ohm. It can do twice its power rating at .5 Ohms. Lithium Headway Bank and 300 Amp alternator. This thing uses a lot of power. Can't wait to meter it tomorrow. I was doing a 144.38 on the smart 3k. I will also be adding a second orion hcca 122 soon. The media could not be loaded. So this thing is hooked up using a 1v iPhone as audio source to a Deaf Bonce apocalypse DB3515 dual 2ohm wired to 1ohm and it has gobs of power I literally just crack the bass knob open and max excursion immediately 😳 👏 now keep in mind that you will need a damn good power supply I've got a limitless cyber 12k and XS SB1000-31 supercap on mine with a mechman 370 elite and this is no 3k its more like a 5-6k easily!!! ... show more
