I used these as part of an 8 speaker replacement in my Tahoe. They are big, heavy, solid tweeters and the sound is very bright. I had to make significant modifications to the plastic in the car but was amazed that the tweeter bases push firmly into the stock holes in the rear pillars of the car. It gets a 3 star because we all know exactly where it falls in the amplifier world, and the cobalt series at that. That said, it works.... simply put, it works. There biggest issue that I can warn everyone about is heat. The vents are on the bottom of the amp, exactly where it would be blocked when mounted using the mounting tabs (see photos). That said you need to use risers, you can make your own or buy them. All you need is a some plastic tubing (hard, not flexible) about 1/2"-3/4" in length and longer mounting screws to get the amp up. Even better, attach a 12v fan to it (don't attach it to directly to your + in). The tuning and sound quality is pretty good honestly. the added bass knob gives you the ability to controlling extra DB when you want and to turn it down when it is needed. Tuning it accurately, you're going to have frequency issues... at least that's where I'm at now. Trying to get it dialed in to be in line and not over powering where it shouldn't be and not hitting hard where it should be. The gain was tuned correctly, I think it's just a cobalt line issue. As far as installing it goes, it installs easy, just like any other amp. Quality = 2.5/5 Knowing this already = 4/5 Overall 3 stars. Photos = amp internals, mounted to box, designed and 3d printed spacers to allow air flow to the vents. Those vents are pointless unless it is elevated ... show more

I've been installing sound systems for a while not and customers always come down with there own tweeters and assume they have the best deal on tweeters and then they hear the difference between theres and these and automatically want to swap em out. There's a day and night difference between other tweeters and these. The price is right and quality is there... ... show more
