    • Best Pruner I Have Ever Used!
Style: Classic
Previously used American made garden pruners like Fiskars. While they worked well for years, eventually they gave out when the aluminum anvil the blade closed against was too worn away to ensure a clean cut. This German made pruner has a much more solid, heavier feeling. No looseness in the components. Opens and closes smoothly. Effortlessly slices through my rose stocks, tree branches. One finger lock works easily. When locked, it stays in place. A very high quality pruner well worth the price. Cannot go wrong with LÖWE Pro Universal Anvil Shears. ... show more

    • Heavy duty German-made anvil cutter. Worth the price.
Style: Classic
I purchased another famous brand from Germany but was unable to find that one online, so I bought this German-made anvil clipper. Wow! Works great, is very sharp and cuts easily. Expensive, heavy duty but should last a long time. Recommended.

    • Like butter
Style: Classic
After buying a few pruners that were, at best lackluster, I finally did what I should have done and got the real deal. These Löwe pruners are simply divine.

    • Superior materials and construction make these a cut above the rest!
Style: Classic
These pruners are truly a quality product and a real pleasure to use. The blade/anvil combination (which I like much more than the traditional bypass type) make short work of branches nearly an inch in diameter with minimal effort. The tool fits comfortably in the hand and just about every part of the construction is solid steel save for the plastic hand grip sleeves and the safety locking mechanism. It would have been nice if the pruners came with a sheath or if there was an option to purchase one separately, as I throw these in my backpack when I go rock climbing in case I encounter thorny bushes at the base of the climbs and need to prune them back a bit. I am now 70 years old and this tool will definitely last a lot longer than I will. Absolutely top-notch! ... show more
