I used disposable nursing pads previously and thought this time I would try something reusable to reduce waste. These are fine for what they are but for me they can’t beat the disposable pads. They do not stick in place so with some bras they move around a lot, which is especially problematic at night. They provide good coverage but it’s actually bigger coverage than the disposable pads I have used such that these pads stick out the top or bottom of some bra cups, which is annoying and can show through clothes. Finally, I feel like they smell almost the instant they are even a little damp, which for me means I am changing them constantly and, consequently, having to wash them frequently. They are also difficult for me to use for long stretches out of the house. Fourteen of these certainly do not last a week. So, if you are able to do laundry frequently and the fit issue isn’t that big of a deal for you, these are great for reducing waste. However, I don’t think these can replace disposable pads and I think it is worth having some of each type. ... show more

I got these shortly after my son was born, I had been using the reusable milk collectors but found that my son didn't like laying on my chest when I had them on. So I ordered these and he is comfortable whenever I hold him or snuggle him. The pads are super absorbent and haven't had any leaks through the pads even when he started sleeping through the night, with every wash they seem to get softer and softer. The bag they come with is cute for carrying an extra pair for travel but the wash bag is rather small if you want to wash very many of them at once, and the seam will show through your shirt if your not wearing a bra with any sort of padding. But this is a wonderful product that works as described. Definitely a must have if you have sensitive skin and don't want to keep buying disposable ones. ... show more

These are amazing! I love how soft they are, and the double layer ones are super absorbent. I’ve washed them many times and they’re still in great shape. The only thing to consider is, if you have any open cuts/cracks in those early days of nursing, the washcloth-like fibers like to cling to healing skin, and it can hurt when you take the pads off. (For those first couple of weeks of nursing, I recommend the Lansinoh reusable pads- they won’t cling. But they also aren’t super absorbent, so you’ll definitely want these once you’re healed up!) ... show more

These are really soft and absorbent. I produce a lot and use them everyday. I am happy they came with a bag, but I would recommend buying another bag and splitting them up. I only dry them half way in dryer and then use a skirt hanger to hang and air dry. I've seen others that are really thin and not soft. These are the opposite. I truly love and wish I had these with the other kids ... show more

I have bought multiple pads over the course of 3 kids and these are the most absorbant and the softest. I am an overmilk producer so the pads still leak sometimes but I have not had any embarrassing moments in public due to these pads. For me though the wash bags they come with does not work well if you are washing more than 2 pads at a time. I tend to just put them in the washer without the bag to make sure they are clean otherwise they were smelling like spoiled milk. ... show more

I love these, I have these slipped into my nursing dress (look ma, no bra!) as pictured. I was going through those disposable packs in about a month (2, 3, even 4 pairs a day in the early weeks postpartum). These are not only more comfortable, but they stay in place much better. I'm now 6 months post partum and still wear these everytime I leave the house. They wash up really nice, they're still soft. Definately buy more than you think you need as you'll want a spare pair for your purse or diaperbag, and you'll end up losing a pair here and there in laundry. Nice amount. If you leak a lot you may need two packs but may be set with 1 depending on how much laundry you do. so much comfier and cheaper than using the disposable ones. I still use disposable for some outfits when you really need the pads to stay in place although these don't normally move from my everyday bras.
