Had been wearing the pads for probably 2 hours when I look down and see this. Also, upon receiving the pads, there’s a note inside offering free wash cloths, you just need to leave a perfect review, so take all the 5 star reviews with a grain of salt. The cheap disposable pads work so much better

Would highly recommend for breastfeeding mothers. I’ve tried the Lasinoh stick-on nursing pads as well as the Bamb00bies brand. While the latter was more preferable of the two, neither compare to these reuasable bamboo nursing pads! I love that I just invest in the beginning and can use these day in & day out. Much cheaper in the long run as compared to buying disposable. They feel so plush & soft, which was a game changer when I was experiencing those first few weeks of chafing and tenderness. They absorb a good amount of milk, too! I’ve tried saturating them under the tap, and I was amazed!! It soaked up WAY more than I anticipated & only leaked through the front when I ringed out the water. Still super soft & absorbent after 6 months of heavy use. (Shown in pic.) The best part? You can buy them and if you don’t like them, returns are free. So why not?! Just do it, they’re great!! ... show more

    • These nursing pads are not worth the money!

All the positive reviews are because they offer a “free gift” that you have to message them and give them your order number and are then asked to leave a review for! These nursing pads are horrible! They are so oddly shaped from poor quality stitching that they make it look like a very badly stuff bra when you wear them so they aren’t discrete at all. I have leaked through the pads multiple times now and ended up with embarrassingly wet clothes a couple of times even after I had just changed them. The material on the inside feels soft when you first put them on, but they end up feeling rough and painfully sticking to my already sore nipples once they soak up any milk. My stitches have been falling apart since I got them and have continued to shred more after washing. As another mom mentioned, the sour milk smell with these is horrible. I’ve never had this issue with any other pads, but they start to smell sour very quickly and no matter how much you wash, the smell just doesn’t come completely out. These nursing pads are an absolute joke, but I am going to keep wearing them around my house (and changing them after every feed so they don’t leak through my clothes again) until they finish falling apart so my money wasn’t completely wasted. ... show more

I give these breast pads a 5 out of 5 but would rate them higher if I could! I have an oversupply of breast milk which leads to constant leaks, wet bras and clothes, and waking up frequently to change pads throughout the nice. I go through multiple sets of disposable pads a day, even when using the highest absorbency ones. These breast pads last me all day since I am feeding and pumping throughout the day. I put on a new pair at night and they will generally last about 6 hours before I need to change them again. I will warn others who have an oversupply that these do still leak if I wear them for too long, but they are far superior to any other reusable breast pad I have used. These are a little thick, but are super soft, provide cushion and also help with desensitization which I think also helps prevent excessive let down. Another great thing about this product is the mesh bag that comes with them for washing and drying! I absolutely recommend this product. ... show more

    • Soft, Big, Seamless but Leak

Update: I have been using these pads for almost two months. And they do not absorb well. They leak completely through to the other side and leak around the edges just about every time I have a let down. I have to change them along with my clothes almost every time. Going out in public is a chore! I have to bring extra to change as soon I feed my 5 month old or else the opposite breast will leak through my shirt. These pads are so large but bigger is Not better. I would even wear two on each side but it’s so bulky. Disappointed in this product. I stopped using disposable pads because I did so much laundry with a newborn I thought it would be cheaper, and it has been! I exclusively breastfeed at the breast so I had a problem with engorgement when my baby started sleeping through the night. I had originally purchased reusable pads with my 2 year old who breastfeed until she was 15 months old and I am used to wearing pads all the time so I had to buy more. These particular pads are larger than other bamboo cotton/ reusable pads I have tried. I have purchased 4 different kinds that all look the same in the amazon stock photos but they are all slightly different materials and constructed different. These are the biggest and thickest (and softest), but they are not as noticeable under my shirts as the other ones are. They are concave but they cover almost my entire breast because they are so large, so it’s harder to see the outline through my clothes of the thick pad. I almost feel like I am stuffing my bra it’s so thick, BUT they are not as absorbant as I hoped. I have leaked through the pads when I had a big let down. To test how much I poured 1 tablespoon (.5 ounce) directly onto the pad and it fills the pad and leaks right through about a nickel size leak. so I change them as soon as I notice they are wet. The main difference this is constructed so much better than some other brands is the seam in the inside is almost none existent. If your reusable pads have a thick seam touching your leaking milk- it can be difficult to always wash the milk out and is more likely to harber bacteria. Some of my pads l purchased from other sellers started to discolor inside the seam. I will take a picture comparing another reusable pad I have purchased on Amazon. ... show more
