Been using this to collect my colostrum from 21-23 weeks currently, it’s work wonders and actually has relieved my breast pains, it also catches a lot as well, not to uncomfortable but definitely gets uncomfortable after having it on for more then an hour, the suction just gets tighter is all which is normal. Really great product tho will definitely be using for when I breast feed!

The Haakaa Ladybug Milk Collector does exactly what it’s supposed to — it’s great for collecting letdown and saving every last drop of milk, especially in those early breastfeeding days. It’s soft, easy to clean, and comfortable to wear inside a bra during nursing or pumping on the other side. That said, I do find it a bit bulky, especially if you’re trying to wear it discreetly or move around while it’s in place. It sticks out quite a bit under clothing, which made it a little impractical for me to wear outside the house or even around guests. Because of that, I might look into a smaller, more low-profile brand next time. Overall, it’s a helpful product and works as advertised — just something to consider if you’re looking for a more subtle option for milk collection.

Unfortunately, not what I expected. I also have the Gen 1 and Gen 2 which are GREAT for suction and collecting your let down while baby is feeding on the other side. I regularly get 2oz during my midnight feeds with both Gen 1 and Gen 2 Haakaa's. I tried the ladybug haakaa because I though the size is perfect to fit in my bra, lessening the oppotunity for my baby to kick them off my boob. Well, he doesn't kick them off, but they have terrible suction and they DO NOT stay attached to my breast like the Gen 1 & 2. They are great for leakage and simply catching milk, but do not rely on these for extra suction purposes. I threw the box away or else I would return them.

I use these daily, when I start feeding baby on one side, I place one of these on the other side to catch the letdown. I then cool it in the fridge and combine it to that days milk for storage. There is not really any active suction, so it is purely to catch let down. The top spout is not ideal, I just pour from the opening. Using these makes me feel like I am not wasting any of the liquid gold. Without these, that milk would just be caught in a breast pad. I have two sets because I use them so much.

Nice milk catchers! Good for when you’re nursing on one side but you don’t want the milk to go to waste on the other side- especially if you’re an under-supplier. Comfortable fit but they are bulky so not too discreet.
