    • Nice and convenient way to create some pleasant lighting atmospheres

I wanted a way to change my lighting drastically throughout the day and night, to help with circadian rhythms and improve my overall sleep quality, so i decided to give these a try and so far I'm pretty pleased! I like that I was able to set and save some different lighting levels quite easily. I made created five with varying degrees of dimming light going from white all the way to red. As the night goes on, I change my setting so it's not only a more relaxing and dim lighting scheme in my bedroom, but also with as little blue light as possible. (A bright white light has a lot of blue light, whereas a red or amber light has little to none. Blue light is what tells our brains it's daytime and it's time to be awake, so the less blue light at night, the better.) I like how fun and simple and convenient it is, turning lights on and off or changing the lighting scheme from the app on my phone, without having to get out of bed. The only reason I took off one star: To get to my preset lighting schemes, I have to click on the app, and then I ciick on my designated lighting areas (one I have marked blue chair and the other is bedside table), then I click on DIY (to get to the presets I made) and then I click on one of my presets. So four steps in all - not a lot, but I wish I could create a shortcut button that immediately lets me access my presets rather than go through that each time. The other minor thing is I wish I could create presets with even less light than the lowest possible option. Some nights when my eyes are tired, even the lowest option still seems a bit too bright. Lastly, in the few weeks I've had the bulbs, once they were non responsive. On the app it kept showing they were turned off, but the actual bulbs wouldn't turn off. I finally gave up and turned them off manually in the lamps, and the next day they were responding in the app again. All in all though, I'm really pleased with them and recommend them! It's made a huge difference in my life and a reminder than sometimes the smallest things can have a big impact! ... show more

I have a full apple HomeKit run home. We had a bunch of Kasa bulbs which are nice but unfortunately not native to HomeKit. So I wanted to try some that were native. These bulbs are not only worth the price, but they are easy to install, and easy to run. They look fairly nice, not super bright but definitely work well in pairs or sets. The warm white is excellent in my opinion. The matter codes were on the manual, which is a nice touch. Can't tell you how many times I've installed something just to find out that the matter tag is inaccessible. I'm smart now and I start taking the tags off the devices and putting them in the manual ahead of time, but that is the way these bulbs came, which was a smart touch for a smart home. ... show more

    • Really Good at a Reasonable Price

Was searching for light bulbs that were Matter enabled and came across these for a good price. They connected very easily to Google, Smartthings and directly to Home Assistant but the connection would drop randomly on all services. Figured Matter was still getting it's bearing so switched to the AiDot app and it works great that way. Would still like to find a Matter device that fits my needs, but these bulbs are still a good find! ... show more

I live in an apartment and wanted to switch my lightbulbs to smart bulbs but found them all to be pretty expensive. These light bulbs are affordable but in no way cheap. The lights were easy to install with Alexa on my echo dot that works well with the AiDot app - even though both apps are needed setup was pretty seamless. The lightbulbs are smart and have a variety of colors. They seem durable and high quality and are also comparable with other smart home systems - my friend got them and they work seamlessly with Apple Home. I bought two packs and if I am looking for more smart lights I will definitely be buying these ones again. ... show more
