This is a beautifully made six-sided belt that's an exact fit on my [very old] 30" Snapper rear engine mower. I'm delighted with it. I bought my well-used Snapper about 20 years ago and have replaced practically every part. I plan to keep it running forever. This Oregon belt that I purchased on Amazon is now the third belt the mower has had in those 20 years.     • The 28" deck has 2 different models and belt lengths, read your manual!
Read your owners manual folks, I accidentally ordered this one. Snapper has 2 different belt sizes for the 28" deck. My mower model #7800102 uses a 73" x 1/2" belt which is a couple inches longer than this one. I'm rating it at 5 stars because the belt is of good quality, and I imagine can't be worse than the original Made in China belt that only lasted me a few years. If your 28" deck model #7800102 needs a belt, you'll need Snapper part #7022252 ... show more

works but not the correct lenght for a 25" deck rear engine rider. Belt is to short/tight not allowing the blade to be disengaged (needs about another 2 inches im guessing). will be ordering the correct one, this one worked well enough to get the yard mowed. seems to be good quality.

I only gave this a 3 star rating because of the misinformation. The belt itself is high quality and I would expect it to last a long time. HOWEVER, it did not fit my 28" Snapper riding mower. I needed a longer belt which I was able to identify thanks to a friendly vendor. Apparently it does fit some 28" models but you need to check what belt your specific model riding mower needs and not rely on titles. ... show more

    • Cheap alternative to Snapper's brand!
Works beautifully! As you may know, Snapper branded belts are 6-sided, whereas most others are 4-sided. This causes a problem in finding a belt without going through Snapper directly...which is expensive. This belt helps me to avoid that hassle and appears to be of good quality thus far. I've mowed with it 3 times and it still looks new. ... show more

The belt fit perfectly on my 1988 snapper rear rider. Seems well made. Made in Mexico. Wish it was USA. I'll see how long it lasts. My last one lasted over 25 years mowing about 25 times a year during the season.
