These blades are amazing
I have a 2016 JD X390 with a 48" deck that I was originally using side discharge with, but wanted to grind up the clippings a little better and added their mulch control kit mid summer. I struggled for about 2 months with striping and uneven cut with their stock blades. I was resharpening after every 3rd cut and it never seemed to get any better. In the thickest areas of my lawn I even had to cross cut to get rid of the tall spots. I decided to give these a try and was amazed at how even it cuts now on one pass. They came somewhat sharp so I touched them up on the grinder before installing and still resharpen every few cuts but it doesn't even seem like they get dull. One observation with these though is that they drop my rpms on the mower much more than the stock blades and you can definitely tell they're more of a load on the machine but not so much that its harming anything. If the grass is really wet or thick I would say just cut it a little taller and then hit it again a day later at your normal cut height. Another bonus to these blades was the leaf mulching. I have several medium sized maple trees that dropped all of their leaves around the same time which was handy this year. I figured before I tried raking or blowing id try and grind them up. The path behind the mower was almost completely devoid of any sign of leaves, they were ground up so small. I would estimate size of the clippings to be 1/4" or less... pretty incredible for the amount of leaves it was cutting in my opinion.

Great blades!
I found these blades many years ago and have been using them ever since. Before, I had three sets of blades for my John Deere lawn tractor that I kept sharpened and rotated them every third mowing. I have 2 acres. I put the Oregon Gators on the deck and mowed three times, dropped the deck to sharpen the blades, and they were still sharp! I went the whole year w/o sharpening them! The ones I have had since then are not that good, but I can still get 5 mowings before I have to sharpen them. Having said that, be aware that my blades are abused: I don't pick up sticks, and these will chew up a 3/4" diameter branch and spit it out! Oregon Gators all the way!

Good blades, some minor adjustment needed
Solid and perform well, but they did scrape the deck initially. After a quick file down to one edge, all was good. The blades are sharp and provide a clean cut, and the mulching feature works great, leaving the lawn looking neat. Overall, they’re good quality blades, but just be prepared to make some small adjustments if you run into clearance issues. Still a great product, and I’d recommend them!

Great Blades for the Price
These blades are designed to work on my John Deere X320 lawn tractor. They are well designed and very sturdy. I was initially concerned about how much heavier they are compared to my regular John Deere blades, but the extra weight did not present any issues. I do not have a mulching screen or bagger system, but these blades made short work of mulching the leaves on my lawn anyway. Exactly what I needed. I highly recommend.

Purchased to use on a John Deere x320 with a mulching kit installed. This blade must be marginally bigger that my old blades because the noise from them hitting the insert was horrible, they trashed my mulching insert. I had to remove the insert and trash it. So if you have a similar set up, pass on these blades. So why then did I give them 5 stars? I admit I was pretty upset at first, however, after removing the insert and re-installing the blades and mowing, well, they cut great, actually better than great! In fact they make my lawn look better than it ever looked using the mulch plug. Tearing up the insert was the best thing that could have happened, even my wife notice how much better the grass looks!

Extra Heavy Duty
I've used "gator" type mulching blades for 30 years. These are the heaviest and most rugged blades I ever saw. They weigh nearly twice as much as any of my previous blades. They shred just about anything they come near. I don't even bother picking up 1" diameter sticks in my yard (sometimes even larger. It shreds leaves sticks and guts tall grass like butter. At this price I won't even sharpen my blades any more. Just buy a new set. double check length and hole size for proper fit. I wish I had taken a photo of them side by side with my old blades before installing them. You will not be disappointed.

Wider Gator Blades
Using on my Jon Deere riding mower. Work well. A little wider blade than the original but works well in mulching grass.

Nice blades.
These cut way better than the factory JD blades. Put them on a new X380 John Deere with the mulch control after a couple cuttings. Discharge is better than the factory ones, and when I close the chute for mulching, they work really good if you stay ahead of the falling leaves. I mulched the leaves as the ground got covered, instead of waiting for all the leaves to drop off the tress. Usually only had to do a single pass over the leaves. I will buy these over and over again as needed.
