The LEDs are densely packed on this strip, 480 per meter, 2400 in all! Best of all is the bright white 6000K CCT. I was so impressed with the product that I already ordered another one. I have a 100 watt transformer ready to power the two 45 watt strips, with the line feed coming off a dimmer switch. Since these LED strips are Triac dimmable, they will fit right in to the plan. These led strips worked out well for me. I put them around a sign display. The power connector was convenient but I had to provide a different power supply connector. The roll is convenient when installing and for storing the unused leftover. The adhesive sticks well to my painted interior walls. The LEDs have been bright and so far, I have had zero issues. These lights are nice quality and provide an incredible amount of light from a very small source. The adhesive on the back works very well to smooth clean surfaces (my experience) and have not had any issues with the adhesive coming unstuck. This is the third strip of these FCOB strips that I have installed and I am continually amazed at how much light comes out of these. I am not a professional, but from my experience/preference, the 24v versions of these types of lights really function at that "continuous light" level that I think most folks are going for when buying FCOB. Meaning, you can't see the spaces in between LED's, or you can't make out the individual LEDs in the strip. I installed a 12v strip over a work surface and it really lit up the surface well and we were very happy with the light. BUT the two different 24v strips that I have installed are brighter, and very clean/bright/continuous light comes out of the strip. So this is by far my preference for futur projects. For my installation, the bullet plug at the start was very convenient to hook up to a RF remote that has a dimmer function (but mostly just use for On/Off). And the RF adapter also had a bullet jack that was easily plugged into the 24v power plug. Some "kits" come with each of these and some dont, but that is usually represented in the price. My last installation I did cut off the bullet jack and directly wired the two wires to a 24v power source. This was because the power source had a switch and I knew I only wanted it on at 100% power. I'm probably never going to have a hobby worksurface without these installed over the top again. So much light and so many options. I am very happy with this FCOB LED strip. ... show more

    • Refreshing to find a light that is close to its description and claims
Color: Natural White 4000K 16.4FT Size: 24V 480LEDs/m
Claims that the light is smooth, and not small points of light. This is actually true, the light is 100% smoothly distributed, no hot spots, rather impressive. Does not come with a power supply. This should be obvious from the description but just to be clear. You will need to buy a power supply and a good one is not cheap. I choose 24v so voltage loss is lower but 24v dc led power sources are less common. Actual watt usage 38 watts which is close to 45 watts claimed. Corresponds to roughly 380 watts incandescent bulb.. Choose a power source that is more than double expected usage (most low cost power sources grossly overstate their actual power handling). (My power supply is claimed 120 watt). Easy to cut tape, easy to connect power to strip, either by supplied socket or by soldering your own wires. I ordered 4000K, feels higher than that. Later I found in the small print that it is actually 4000-500K (not sure why the range). It feels closer to 5000K. Which is a shame, cause I would have preferred 4000K. (The main title says 3000K so a little confusion there, maybe because you can actually select 3 different temperature colors). Not bright enough to use as general illumination, more for accenting (which is consistent with the description). Well packaged. Includes 3 clear plastic supports. But the strip itself is completely backed with double sided tape which works well. ... show more
