I installed the valve hoping to automate watering my garden. After it’s installed but not yet wired I turned on the water to check for leaks, and the water started flowing to my garden despite the unit not having power. I think hooked it up to the controller, and turned it on. The unit began to emit a loud buzzing that my wife could hear from inside the house. I’m an electrician, and I wire up similar valves fairly often at work. Never had one failed so badly. Customer service is almost nonexistent, so I’m still struggling with the damn noisy thing that doesn’t regulate the water. ... show more
