  • Great hybrid between manual and electric toothbrush
This is my first time using a battery-powered toothbrush. It’s a nice in-between option if you’ve never used a full electric one before. It also works well as a regular manual brush. The vibration in your mouth takes a little getting used to and it’s a bit loud when turned on. However it does leave my teeth feeling very clean. I think one simple on/off button would be a little easier to manage. The packaging doesn’t explain what the different colored bristle sections are for, which I'd find helpful. I’m not sure how this compares to typical drugstore prices for a battery-powered toothbrush, but Oral-B is a well-known brand which I've purchased before. Overall, it’s an effective toothbrush, less expensive than a full electric brush, and seems like a good value for the 2-pack. ... show more

  • A Toothbrush That Really Takes Daily Brushing to the Next Level
After my first use, I was immediately struck by how well-balanced it felt in my hand. Because the brush was lightweight and manageable, brushing was more controlled and smooth. I've used both electric and manual toothbrushes, but these two have a few nice features in common. By adding extra kinetic force, it makes it easier to clear debris and get to places that are difficult to reach without applying excessive force. Compared to a manual toothbrush, the soft pulsating motion offers a more thorough clean. It is particularly useful for reaching places like behind molars or close to the gum line that are frequently challenging to brush evenly. My teeth always felt clean and shiny after brushing, as if they had been professionally cleaned. Knowing that a basic tool can have such a significant impact with only a few minutes of daily, consistent use is gratifying. They clean thoroughly without causing any abrasions, but they are also kind to the gums. Even on mornings when I brush a bit more quickly than usual, I've noticed that my gums feel more comfortable after using it for a few weeks. Additionally, I can use the suggested two minutes without experiencing any hand fatigue or discomfort. The design carefully balances effectiveness and comfort. Even on mornings when I am not as meticulous as usual, I feel like I am still getting a thorough cleaning because the soft vibration motion adds movement. Both of the toothbrushes in the set have excellent durability. The bristles still feel and look as lovely as they did when I first purchased it, even after using it for a few weeks. There are no loose parts or discolorations, and the handle and overall construction remain sturdy. It makes brushing easier, keeps my mouth clean, and is mild enough to use daily without irritating my teeth. As soon as you return to something else, you'll remember this little daily tool that subtly improves your habits without anyone noticing. ... show more

  • Limited use
According to my dentist I have to use an electric toothbrush. I have a nice setup at home, it's an Oral-B rotating toothbrush with the overpriced brush heads. It works well, but it's big and bulky and not really for traveling. So I saw this and thought it would be a perfect travel toothbrush. The big problem with this toothbrush is that it has a non-replaceable battery. I feel like the battery pictured on the box is designed to look like a AA battery, and is intentionally misleading. So no hotel battery replacements are going to happen if this dies on you mid-trip. Also, the fine print on the box says to replace the brush every 3 months; but I never know when I have to travel for work. Who knows if the brush will work then? Now as far as comfort, this only has one speed, which is a bit rough for me. The plastic bits on the side rub against my gums, which are sensitive. Without those though I wouldn't have a major problem with the bristles. They are soft enough and have kept my teeth clean. I do prefer rotating action as it is less likely to rattle my teeth. But you can only expect so much mechanics in a 3-month product. ... show more

  • Manual feel with an electric clean!
At $13 for two toothbrushes, the "Oral-B Pulsar Advanced All-in-One Soft Toothbrush, 2 Count" is a fair price for a great toothbrush! It has an easy on-off button system that will keep you brushing for as long as you need, and the battery life on Oral-B Pulsar products is usually quite good (and I expect this to last the recommended 90 days as well). The bristles are soft and include some silicone bristles on the edges to assist with brushing. This brush gives you a similar clean to an electric toothbrush but without the weight or the need to change batteries or charge. It feels lightweight and made my teeth feel incredibly clean. If you're not used to pulsating toothbrushes, you may feel a tickle; I love the performance of this brush and think that it does a great job! I would absolutely order this product in the future. ... show more

  • Perfect blend of standard and electric toothbrush
I am not always fond of rotary electric toothbrushes. I was very pleasantly surprised by how this hits a sweet spot between a standard and electric toothbrush. It has the smaller size and handling of a standard manual, so I don't get the leakage I encounter with some larger electrics. But ups the cleaning ability over a manual. I get to use my standard regimen that is all muscle memory, and the end result is better. It's simple to use with separate on and off buttons. The vibration can be seen in the bristles and is comfortable in use. The bristles are listed as soft, and I'd say that is relatively accurate. Definitely on the softer side while the thicker clusters feel a hair stiffer than the head of a standard toothbrush. It's intended to be disposable when the onboard battery dies. Unscrewing the bottom, it appears to be a standard AAA that could be replaced if the bristles are not worn out and still cleaning well. I really liked this toothbrush, it such a good compromise between types and is well-made. I think it's a reasonable value. I'd like to see it a couple dollars cheaper so it could be firmly in the good value range but would still recommend it where it is currently. ... show more
