I have the Oral-B Pro 1000 CrossAction Electric Toothbrush in green, and my kids really like using it. They find it fun and easy to handle, which makes brushing less of a chore and more of a routine they actually enjoy. One of the things I’ve noticed is that the charge lasts a surprisingly long time. We don’t have to worry about it running out of battery frequently, which is really convenient, especially with kids who sometimes forget to put things back on the charger. In terms of cleaning, this toothbrush works much better than a manual toothbrush. I can tell a noticeable difference in how clean their teeth look afterward — the CrossAction bristles reach places that are hard to get with a regular brush, like along the gumline and between teeth. My kids’ dentist has even commented that their teeth and gums look healthier since we started using this toothbrush. The design is simple and comfortable to hold, even for smaller hands, and the green color makes it fun for them to pick out their brush. It’s easy to swap the brush heads when needed, and they seem to last a long time too. Wow! What an amazing clean! My teeth feel like I just came from a dentist office cleaning! I would highly recommend this electric toothbrush. I have used an electric toothbrush for years, but struggled getting my wisdom teeth and the hard to reach areas as clean as possible. This Oral-B is amazing and it cleans my teeth, including my wisdom teeth easily, while leaving my gums feeling great. The cross action brush does its job! I am so glad I purchased it. We bought two of these brushes in March of 2024. The oral hygienist praised the lack of plaque on our teeth on our next bi-yearly visit to the dentist. We normally brush twice a day, sometimes more if required by our food choices. We are very pleased with with our toothbrushes with one exception: they need to be recharged after three to four days (max) of use. I seem to remember them being advertised as needing recharging every 8 days or so. When the red charge indicator flashes it takes at least 16 hours to completely charge them. It has been this way from their first use. This is the only reason for the 4 star rating. Due to their long recharge period, when we travel we need to carry the chargers and a short multi-head extension cord. One last note- stay away from knock-off brush heads. We tried two different brands and threw them away due to them pinching our lips during use. ... show more

I LOVE this toothbrush. From the first time I used it, I felt that my mouth was so much cleaner. It is so easy to handle that it makes me want to brush my teeth. I used a spin brush and then a store brand electric brush before this and this does a better job by leaps and bounds. It's attractive, feels good in my hand, fits well in my mouth, and you can just feel it doing a good job brushing. I also love the base to store it on, and it's so much easier to change the head than on the other brands I used. Having a rechargeable battery is a big plus, too. The power is consistent and the brush does not slow down as the battery loses its charge. like the brushes with replaceable batteries did. The toothbrush heads are sturdier and last longer, too! As for the timer, I completely ignore that. It takes me longer than 2 minutes to brush my teeth if I want to pay attention and do a good job so I really don't see a need for that feature. But for those who are quick brushers, I guess it's a good feature to remind you to take more time. ... show more

I been brushin’ with the same crusty ol’ manual toothbrush since the Clinton administration—thing looked like it’d been chewin’ tobacco and losin’ the fight. Teeth were yellower than a school bus dipped in mustard. Then my cousin Earl (the one with the good teeth and the bad ideas) says “Bubba, git yerself one of them fancy ‘lectric ones before yer grin looks like a busted picket fence.”So I ordered this Oral-B Pro 1000 deal. UPS fella dropped it off lookin’ skeered, probably thought I was gonna pay him in moonshine and possum jerky. I crack open the box and there she is—shinin’ like a chrome bumper on a jacked-up F-150. Felt like I just bought a new horse, except this one don’t eat my beer money.First time I fired her up? Lord have mercy. That thing vibrated so hard I thought I’d accidentally swallowed a honey badger on Red Bull. Two minutes later my mouth felt cleaner than a whistle at a Baptist picnic. I’m talkin’ SPARKLIN’. I coulda used my teeth to signal airplanes. Even the coffee stains from three Thanksgivings ago packed up and left like they owed me money.The little pressure sensor light?
