Description

The Oral-B Pro 1000 rechargeable electric toothbrush provides a clinically proven superior deep clean in hard-to-reach areas vs. a regular manual toothbrush. 300% MORE plaque removal along the gumline versus a regular manual toothbrush. The professionally inspired design of the CrossAction brush head surrounds each tooth with bristles angled at 16 degrees. The Oral-B Pro 1000 has 3D cleaning action that oscillates, rotates, and pulsates to break up and remove plaque along the gumline than a regular manual toothbrush. The pressure sensor stops pulsations if you brush too hard to prevent harmful over-brushing and there are 3 modes. The toothbrush also includes an in-handle timer to help you brush for a dentist-recommended two minutes. Best of all, it is brought to you by Oral-B - the 1 brand used by dentists worldwide. Based on surveys of a representative worldwide sample of dentists carried out for P&G regularly. Do not use on children under age 3. Replace brush (head) every 3 months or sooner if brush head becomes worn. Manufacturer Contact Information P&G Plaza, Cincinnati, OH 45202

  • Great toothbrush and value
I love this toothbrush. Just make sure you rinse the head out often. Works great.

  • Had for more then two years. Still working.
Works well. Had this one for more then 2 years. The battery has to be recharged every three days though. It's not holding a charge good anymore. Probably almost time for a new one. I like this one. Better then the sonicare. Seems to clean the teeth better.

  • Don’t be frightened when your teeth feels clean for the first time!
Absolutely phenomenal. People weren’t lying when they said it feels like you just came from the dentist. I don’t know how it does it, but if you brush the same way you brush with a manual toothbrush, alongside the intense vibration, it feels like it removes 100% of plaque, especially the plaque that’s hard to get behind each tooth. Also, at first, the vibration may feel a little intense, but you’ll get used to it. But if it’s too strong, just press the button and it will go to a slower mode. I highly recommend the strongest mode for the most effectiveness. But hands down, this is the best toothbrush I’ve ever got in my life. I will say, because the brush is small, I usually apply the toothpaste on my finger and place it in my mouth manually, then brush. But that’s my personal preference. I just prefer more toothpaste. And it sits well on the charging pad. I honestly have no complaints. ... show more

  • Loud & About the Brush Head...
The Oral-B 1000 is the latest toothbrush in my very long search for a really great electric tb. Round heads, oval heads, rechargeable, regular battery powered. I actually would like this Oral B 1000 with the exception of 2 (or so) issues. The first one: do yourself a favor and, if you order this toothbrush, purchase the sensitive gum soft replacement brush heads at the same time. The brush head this tb comes with cannot be healthy for any part of your mouth. Seriously, it's like brushing with a mean dish scrubber- those stiff, hard plastic bristles- just plain NO. The softer bristles of the sensitive gum head is substantially better. Okay, the 2nd issue: this toothbrush rattles SO loudly, I really wonder what the manufacturer is thinking! I mean shake, rattle & roll! I have to use it at the lowest setting and brush lightly (but thoroughly). The pauses to tell you when to move along are ridiculous, but at least this tb doesn't turn off at the 2 minute mark like so many of them do. Big plus. For me, the charge doesn't hold for more than two-three uses, so I keep the tb sitting on the charger and plugged in. Aside from the issues this tb is good. There's my basic review, hope it helps. I'll be using this Oral-B 1000 for a while, but I'm still hoping for something better. ... show more

  • Very effective at a low cost...
At first I thought, oh no another thing to do over and over. Then I said goodbye to my regular toothbrush and I do a better job on my teeth and gums. My mouth even feels cleaner and all around better.

  • My dentist recommended me this one and I’m blown away at the results.
I NEVER knew what the deal with electric toothbrushes were. I always thought they were just an expensive gimmick. I grew up the good old fashioned manual way of brushing my teeth and thought that was enough. I recently switched dentists and my new one did a periodontal exam (if your dentists don’t do this, folks, find another one) and after finding a lot of tartar in the pockets of my gum, one of the recommendations I had was to switch to an electric toothbrush. At first, I thought they were pulling my leg, but after talking with her a little bit, she recommended specifically the Oral B kind. She said the Phillips Sonicare is good too, but the circular motion of the Oral B mimics the tools they use at the dentistry, so I went with this one. I’m already a few uses in and I’m blown away at the results. My teeth feel remarkably CLEANER. Like, as though I was able to get down to every nook and cranny in one seamless application. The best part is that I don’t feel as inclined to apply a whole lot of pressure into the brushing, the brush itself does all the work! The only thing though is that, like shave blades, the branded brush replacements are ridiculously expensive. After doing some research, I’m seeing that there isn’t a huge difference between the off-brand cheaper replacement brushes and the official ones. Obviously, there’s some trial and error needed based off what’s out there, but I probably won’t shell out too much for the replacement heads. Apart from that, great product! Never going back to manual brushing! ... show more

  • Tried and true
Purchased this tooth brush in May 2018. Still using it to this day. It’s traveled with me to South Korea, several European countries and more than a couple trips across the states. After 6 years of daily use, it shows the wear but still charges. I have the original battery it came with in it.
